I love reading multiple series by the same author because I feel like I learn more about them. For example, this author has had two protags that are awkward and bookish but underestimated with iffy relationships with their fathers. Which makes me think the author *might* share some things with them.

Blind Tiger on Cornelia Street. It reminded me of that sweater with a tiger on it and the words on it are blind for love. I haven't confirmed but didn't KK wear a sweater like that but it's L'aveugle par L'amour or something

Here’s the colored version of Holliday from my new (side) project. I posted the line art a while back and forgot to post this, so here ya go. I’ve been doing this thing were I half-ass coloring since I hate doing it, and just go with whatever I end up with instead of stressing about it. Working so far!

Pep Rally Inc x Tampa Bay Lightning

Our concept behind this mural was to show the force of electricity as a storm rolls into Tampa Bay. That energy is invisible but it will disrupt your TV and make it “glitch” and that is the moment we wanted to capture. To reinforce the concept we created the background illustration of a storm over the Tampa skyline to look like an old black and white monitor. The paint hints of color create separations that complete the disrupted image.

I made up the fancy beer bar where Thomas worked called Saints, but it was very much based on The Blind Tiger over in the West Village. The late 90′s was really when bars started serving decent beer, and I remember it vividly as a major shift in the city. That, and the smoking ban which came a few years later.
