Hello! I'm sure you've been asked this before, but are you guys planning on to continue "cherry pie"? Thanks in advance!
we are. @toast-ranger-to-a-stranger and i are currently working on the second part of it. it’s already about the same length as the first part, which is impressive, considering we published that only abt a month and a half ago.
@blindbirdy Sorry for the late reply! As you can imagine, school is almost over and I’ve been insanely busy. I understand your frustration. I deal with these kind of people all the time! I have talked about this topic before (x) and have answered asks about Heath’s nervous ticks and about Heath’s method acting.
In the new documentary, I Am Heath Ledger, Kate Ledger (Heath’s sister) said, (about The Joker role being the cause of his death) “He had an amazing sense of humor and certainly playing the Joker, for him it was one big gag. He had so much fun doing that. It was actually the exact opposite. There was no doom and gloom. That was a shock to me that people even thought that, really.” Also, at a Q&A at the Tribeca Film Festival for the film, she also said, “I was really shocked because that was him having fun. Every report was coming out that he was depressed and that [the role] was taking this toll on him, and we’re going, honestly, it was the absolute opposite. It couldn’t be more wrong. He had an amazing sense of humor, and I guess maybe only his family and friends knew that, but he was having fun. He wasn’t depressed about the Joker!” His agent, Steven Alexander, even said, “The truth is, he was super happy and was loving life, and he struggled with some demons but he wasn’t wanting to go anywhere but forward.”
What I try to stress to people that think he killed himself is that it was accidental. All the medications he was taking were for conditions that he had. Near his death, he was really sick with pneumonia, so he was taking medication to treat that. It was no secret that Heath suffered from insomnia, stress, and anxiety – all conditions that he had been dealing with. In a recent interview with Kim Ledger (Heath’s father), he shares, “It was a one-off thing. That’s what killed us, because he was warned by his sister the night before: ‘You shouldn’t mix what you’re taking for pneumonia with your Ambien.’ But most of Heath’s problems were self-induced,” because of the pressure put on by Heath’s demanding schedule. Unfortunately, what Heath’s demise shows is that celebrities have extremely easy access to prescription drugs and that that access causes them to mix drugs that can be potentially fatal.
That’s all you can do. You can offer people all the sources they need to know the truth but some people are just stubborn and believe lies. I hope all of this helps and good luck with all of those people.
blindbirdy replied to your post: It is absolutely plausible that these two fun...
oh screw you. british and american track record of meddling with foreigh affairs is so much worse.
it's not a fucking competition, mate.

is real life bearing you down or tumblr? anyway, i’ll miss you too! hope you’ll feel better about the internet thing sometime :)
a bit of both. Obviously I’ll still pop on the internet because I need to access my emails for work and such but I’m trying to avoid using it so much for recreational purposes lol.
I’m probably going to end up moving blogs - I’m working on setting one up so if you want to follow me there you are more than welcome, just ask and I’ll inbox u :) It will be the same old content, karl and all....just a fresh start.
Sophie, you're back! And you saw Karl! I just want to congratulate you, you're so lucky! I hope you're going to write something about your trip and everything)
I did, literally third time lucky because I missed two previous opportunities to meet him! Thank you so much <3 I think I shall. I have post-con blues though, coming back home and knowing I have to go back to work Tuesday is just so disappointing.
Yes ATOMIC BREATH! When it got to this part I actually shrieked in silence: "He's a DRAGON! Look!". The best thing that ever happened in any film lately, to be honest. *_*
I was so freaking happy when that happened because there he was, getting his ass kicked and then he was like “alright fuckers u gone an done it now” *charges atomic breath*
There were some scenes where I was literally watching with wide-eyes because I was so amazed. Like when he arrived in Hawaii and just the sheer size of him, God, he’s such a cutie!
I wanna see it again!!
Oh, I really hope you're gonna like it! 'Cause patience is virtue! I've seen it yesterday and I'm itching to go once again so much. Will you write something here after you see it on Sunday? I would love to hear what you thought about it)
I hope so too. I’m really excited for tomorrow! I’m pretty sure it will blow me away, I mean people complain about the 1998 version (and I admit that the story sucks) but Gino or Zilla or whatever people call him still looked awesome to me and I enjoyed the whole scene when he arrived in New York and all the action scenes afterwards and it is still one of my favourite movies.
So with that being said and with this movie being praised for remaining loyal to Godzilla, then I’m quite confident that I will love it.
Of course I will :) If it’s anything like I imagined then all you’ll probably get is “ASDKFFKHLFGHH …….” xD because I’ll just be so speechless by how awesome it is.
