I hope blindbox and other "cheap" dolls continue to take this hobby by storm. I hope the people who collect them are happy with their little doll friends. I hope more people become interested in BJDs through this accessible entry point. I hope more companies pivot to the new market and get exposure from it so they can grow. I hope the crybabies who whine about it nonstop stay mad and never escape this otherwise gentle reminder that they have no control over this hobby or who gets to be in it.

If you’re interested in blindbox bjds, please be careful about what you’re paying and make sure it’s reasonable for that doll.

I’ve seen more and more instances of people listing blindbox bjds on places like Mercari for $50+ for common blindbox bjds (not even the secret/hidden styles) that are often $35 or under on kikagoods and oftentimes still in stock on kikagoods (or by sellers - sometimes with confirmed styles - on places like aliexpress).

Please don’t accidentally pay nearly double (or more!) for a blindbox bjd.

Some blindbox bjds, especially the larger ones, can be in the $50+ price range but I’ve seen this happen with cheaper releases. Make sure to double check!

Ps. If you order from kikagoods, there is a few codes you can use for 10% off. Don’t be like me and not know about them 😅 xcanadensis and faerytale10 are two codes that I know of. Had I used either for my first two orders, I’d have probably saved myself a good $60 or so combined…
