ⓧ It started out as a normal day for him.  Waking up with a hangover, sleeping in class in the middle of his lesson, and then the normal alert of danger.  Which is how he got to this shopping center.

New York was known to have giant shopping plazas, and this one happened to be five stories tall.  He didn’t know who he was following, or what kind of situation he was dealing with, but with his trench coat on and hat tipped over his green face, he waited in the elevator to get to the bottom floor.  Currently, he was searching the department store from the top to bottom.

Surprisingly, it wasn’t busy that day - either that or people were seeing that he was in the elevator and chose to stay off it.  Nevertheless, Doop was in the elevator alone.  At least, until someone else got onto the elevator, seemingly out of breath.  “ Ʊค͒ч ° “ he greeted, trying to cut through the mind-boggling elevator music but making it clear he wanted no more conversation once the greeting had passed by putting his hands in his pocket.  He just assumed the other was out of breath because of some sort of flash sale.  But he didn’t have any sort of bags or anything...

Before any further thoughts could occur to Doop, a horrible grinding sound shrieked from above and below, and the elevator lurched slightly before stopping and the lights shutting down momentarily before the emergency lights kicked on.  But it was clear they weren’t going any time soon.

Before he could say anything, fuchsia eyes looked over the stranger talking to him.  Sweat forming at his brow, he could tell the other was starting to panic but trying hard not to show it.  Great.  Just what he needed. 

“ ᑭ̸𝓾𝓷 ȝ𝕒คα ° “ he admitted nonchalantly.  He paused.  Now that the power had been shut off, so had the annoying elevator music, so the only sound in the compressed room was the hum of the electrical lights above and the stranger’s loud, erratic heartbeat. 

Chuckling, he spoke up.  “ ๒α͒чb̥ค ̻aƱȝ𝒥 ȝ𝒥 E̥ȝv̲ค ̻aƱα̻a ๒𝓾𝓷<°ȝค ° 𝕒ค<°ȝE̥ ° ° “

“You know you should really be talkin’ me out of doing shit like this.” Lance commented, nothing but affection in his voice as he pointed out the fact to the other mutant, a raised eyebrow directed at the man even though Lance knew he couldn’t see it. “You think it’s a decent idea though, right?”

A soft laugh came from the other boy at Rhys’ comment, his lips curving into a sleepy grin. “Baby you know you can sleep here as much as you want. I’m more than happy to share my bed with you any night.” he teased. it wasn’t like he would be the one with a problem with it. Mystique on the other hand…

Lance stifled a yawn as Rhys sat up, a hand moving to rub against his eyes for a moment. “Well…yeah.” he said, embarrassment seeping it’s way into is voice. “Wha- oh shut up.” Lance was sounding more and more embarrassed by the second, a hand moving to run through Rhys hair in an attempt to help tame the other boys bedhead.

What he hadn’t expected was Rhys’ sudden onslaught of kisses to his neck, a surprised groan slipping from his lips.

“Someone woke up in a good mood” he commented with a slight laugh, his voice gruff. Not that he was complaining. In fact, he was encouraging it, greedy hands moving to grab at Rhys’ shirt, pulling him closer still.

who is more likely to hurt the other? Probably Lance, but it would be an accidentwho is emotionally stronger? Rhys who is physically stronger? Lance, and he’s always joking about being stronger than Rhys who is more likely to break a bone? I could see that being Rhys who knows best what to say to upset the other? Rhys, though I don’t think he’d ever actually say it to Lance who is most likely to apologize first after an argument? Probably Rhys - Lance is too stubborn to verbally apologize, though he’d make moves to try and show he’s upset by affectionate means and may e some kind of lame present who treats who’s wounds more often? Rhys helps Lance after his training with Mystique, and definitely gets the most wounds who is in constant need of comfort? Both! They both needs comfort from each otherwho gets more jealous? Ha! Lance. He just thinks Rhys is so gorgeous. Though his jealousy might come off as him getting annoyed at Rhys, and sulking. Lots of sulking. who’s most likely to walk out on the other? Probably Lance if he got upset enough - but he’d regret it the second he didwho will propose? Lance! But after a very very long time together bc anxiety over him saying no who has the most difficult parents? Probably Lance, but they don’t talk about their families much. who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public? Surprisingly, Lance! he wouldn’t tell Rhys because he knows it’s corny, but Lance loves having Rhys close to him when they’re out in public together who comes up for the other all the time? Rhyswho hogs the blankets? I can imagine Rhys hogging them, and Lance curling himself around Rhys to keep warmwho gets more sad? They both have their moments who is better at cheering the other up? Both of them, they’re very good at helping the other.who’s the one that playfully slaps the other all the time after they make silly jokes? Rhys. The amount of bad rock puns he has to suffer through....(though he does give Lance a slight laugh every time)who is more streetwise? Rhyswho is more wise? Still Rhys probably! who’s the shyest? That’s a tough one! Rhys seems shameless, but I’d say he’s the shyer of the two (though when he starts flirting Lance immediately becomes the shy one)who boasts about the other more? Lance.
