Seeing just how out of it the wasp was didn’t surprise him in the slightest. It was instead concerning that he would be out in this weather to begin with, considering he knew how Vi could get in this weather. Actually, most of the bugs he knew seemed to struggle with winter in some way or another but that didn’t actually surprise him.
What was surprising and incredibly concerning to him was that Zasp said he had work to do... In this weather... Alone. That was not going to fly with the moth. Nope. Concern over Mothiva finding be damned right then, he was far more worried over Zasp right then. He looked ready to fall asleep standing there before he’d approached after all.
“... We mean that it is cold Zasp and you look ready to hibernate standing there. What do you have left to do anyway that cannot wait until Mothiva can accompany you?”
It was his subtle attempt at getting an answer out of the wasp without drawing too much attention to the fact he would be helping. Zasp was not getting a say in the matter.
