Mystery
One must take utmost care to be as silent as possible whilst walking through the Archives.
Blueberry knows this well, and as such time has trained her to be light on her feet. Neither Moonlight nor Stardust walk, floating above the ground as they do, and Milky Way observes the quietude with begrudging acceptance. Beyond those fleeting companions, no Cookie should know of the Archives' existence; it is a forgotten place, and its mystery protects it.
So it is with surprise that she greets the sound of footsteps one morning.
She does not ready her magic—any intruders would've made a clamor outside. Instead, she puts down the tome she was handling and walks swiftly toward the lobby.
After a few moments, the visitor comes into view, inspecting one of the tomes on the shelves. A pillbox hat perches atop her long and well-brushed scarlet hair, and trailing from that is a chocolate ribbon. She dons a maroon capelet draped over her cream-white blouse, as well as a short plaid skirt the color of fresh cocoa.
As she approaches, the stranger turns to her. "Blueberry Pie Cookie, yes?" she says, taking out a book bound in maroon. "I'm looking to add my manuscript to your rather impressive catalogue."
Blueberry blinks, and it takes her an unusually long moment to find her voice. "Is that so?"
The stranger nods. "I know this is a rather secluded place, but that conductor Cookie told me I should stop by, seeing as I'm a mystery novelist and all."
A mystery novelist, huh? This enigmatic woman seemed more like a mysterious novelist. But Blueberry was to be polite to all, and beautiful strangers were certainly no exception. "Then... could I perhaps have your name?"
Curtsying, the Cookie smiles. "I'm Linzer Cookie. Pleased to meet you!"
