Burning. One wouldn’t have imaged that water could burn. Yet here she was being smothered in it. Suffocating in it. Slowly, being fully aware that she was slowly dying and being unable to do anything. Yet despite it all, it was beautiful. The light filtering in, like cloth caught in a breeze. Everything appearing like a painting. It was a beautiful way to die and yet, it was not meant for her.
Was she screaming to live? Or was it the cry of someone else?

It felt like someones gentle caress, the way the waves woke her.
“I’m, alive?” Only the moon, stars, and sea were present to hear her question. Yet they provided no answers. Her lungs still burned, a reminder of what had transpired was no dream.
If it was no dream, then what she had seen - what she had heard, was real.
@silent-dragon I hope you like it! And thank you for having such amazing characters that spark inspiration!
This was challenging (due to the lighting being restricted, and my first attempt at editing images), yet so much fun.
