if you've seen episode 6 and 7, would you say that there's any autistic coding for blitz there or?
Yes! I've been meaning to make a post about this, but I feel like how Moxxie is portrayed in his trip showcased his insecurity about his intelligence, even though only HE was creating the Moxxie illusion in the first place, therefore HE had to know the words that Moxxie was saying in order to make him feel insecure about himself. It's contradictory, and perfectly shows how autistic people tend to under credit themselves and their smarts because they aren't seen as conventionally intelligent. I'm just saying, how in the world could that part of the trip even exist if he didn't even have the ability to create such a strange landscape in the first place? However other than that it's really clear to me Blitz's issues reaches FAR more to personal matters that isn't inherently caused by his autism, so I won't even bother talking about anything else in that episode that hinted to his autism that wasn't apparent to me. As for episode 7, Blitz is shown hugging himself and hugging a pillow for comfort, he was trying to seek out pressure stims for comfort. He was also distress humming while entering his house, and to top it off he curled up into a ball while breaking down in tears. All of these things are extremely common in emotional breakdowns with autistic people, and signifies he was seeking comfort unconsciously and was perhaps touch starved. But at the same time as soon as he was offered the physical attention he wanted from Stolas, he immediatly declined because his emotions were too intense to ignore to get what he wanted yet. Needless to say...once you figure that out the entire situation becomes all the more heartbreaking ;-; I hope this helps!
