i answered that already but hm i’m trying to remind myself of something more unusal i used to like. mgła- fog, parkany- fences, premedycja-premeditation (suprisingly) and kanikularny which is a rare term for really hot (mostly summer, i believe)

haha my first though was obudzić się z ręką w nocniku which literally means ‘wake up with your hand in a potty’ and we use it to describe that we did something too late and now it’s no way out- and there’s also another funny polish saying for ‘too late’ which is po ptakach (literally ‘after the birds’)

well polish is my first language & i keep learning (!) english, obviously

i also study french (rather unsuccesfully) and used to study german (but remember nothing)
