if there’s one thing a person can count on when it comes to winter in la, it’s the fact that there definitely won’t be any snow. so when a freak blizzard rolls in out of nowhere and buries the city - trapping most residents indoors - it’s clear to the denizens of the shadow world that something magical is at work. the mastermind behind the nearly all that has gone wrong in the shadow world over the last few months is at it again with a brand new plan to get their hands on some of the institute’s most prized possessions - as well as a certain sword that’s on loan from the silent city. unfortunately for our resident evil genius things don’t quite go according to plan, yet again, and this time they’ll be forced out into the light.

-- the event will take place from saturday 2nd ( 1 pm est ) to wednesday 6th !
-- while we’d appreciate if you’d drop your old threads, you’re definitely free to continue them since we know it’d be hard to intreact only a few people ! but please don’t start any new non-event related threads !
-- the blizzard started while most shadowhunters ( aka: all played shadowhunters ) were away from the institute, and none were able to make it back.
-- the snow is magic, obviously, and it’s pretty much a dampening spell of sorts - no one can portal through it !
-- please make a post stating where your character is - and remember, they can’t leave !! unless they want to brave 35 mph ( 56 km/h ) winds, complete lack of visibility, insanely low temperatures, and snowdrifts starting at 3ft ( 0.91m ) - they should probably not try going out.
-- don’t forget to talk with eachother and message us where your character will be hiding at before the event starts or we’ll have to randomly pick people ! there’s three options: greene’s deli, hunter’s moon, or hotel dumort. we need each place to have equal number of people, so that way people can interact with more than one person. we’ll let you know when a place is full. note: the reason why your character was at that place may vary. maybe they had something to do in there, maybe they just wanted a drink, or maybe it was the closest place to them when the blizzard started so they went there to hide. totally utp !

I have to attend a spar on WoW tonight. I don’t wanna. Tbh, these days, I don’t want anything to do with logging on WoW. However, other people want me there and I feel like I’ve been letting them down a tad, so... fine.
