"History isn't something you look back at and say it was inevitable, it happens because people make decisions that are sometimes very impulsive and of the moment, but those moments are cumulative realities." - Marsha P. Johnson

White people stop calling yourselves allies and wanting cook out passes to imaginary cook out passes for basic reasoning like twerking ,rapping, dancing etc . It takes a lot more than having rhythm to be in black spaces .
Black people stop trying to hand out imaginary passes for stupid shit like the above ⬆️⬆️ know your worth and know that ain’t even a decent reason to sit with us ! Understand if they don’t fight for you the way they fighting to say the N word, fighting to be racist , fighting to be ignorant, and dense to global issues that effect all minority groups/communities , then they are not our allies . They aren’t out here helping rebuild none of our communities (even though they should since they helped ruined them) ,feeding ,clothing or paying bills for the less fortunate. They don’t get easy As for no work period !
Blk ppl are some of the only ppl who have internalized guilt surrounding safe places. Every other culture is quite comfortable having spaces, art, and other cultural things to themselves…and no body makes them feel guilty. But when Blk folk wants safe spaces, everyone want to be included. No. In case anyone forgot, this page if for Blk ppl, particularly Blk women and femmes. Everyone else is a guest.
