72% of women in the US with HIV are black. Talk about disproportionate. The cool thing is there is an organization, Black AIDS Institute, that is trying to fight HIV/AIDS in Black communities! Definitely worth checking out, even if you can’t donate. They’re pretty fuckin cool.

I’ve seen posts going around saying “Bail funds are full, stop donating” THIS IS NOT TRUE. These organizations still need help. While funds could be topped off, money is constantly being used during this time. Here is a complete list of bail fund organizations by state.

Daunte Wright was only 20 years old, and they killed him over air fresheners. 

AND they had the actual gall to call it an accident, a mistake— because somehow a veteran cop mistook her gun for her taser. And I’m the bloody Queen of England! 

I’m beyond outraged. Minnesota's corrupt police have struck again. America has learnt nothing, and are letting their black citizens down. Why is nothing changing? Why is there still a trial going on for George Floyd’s murder, that happened almost a whole year ago?? Why did Wright’s killer just get put on administrative leave??? 

WHY IS NOTHING CHANGING.

the last time a british police officer was convicted for a death in custody was 1969, even though 1700 people have died in police custody in the UK since 1990. not surprisingly, BAME people are far more likely to be stopped, arrested, jailed, and murdered by police in this country. here is a list of UK anti-racism orgs you can donate to, including the UK chapter of Black Lives Matter.

EDIT (08/06/2020): Stand Up To Racism (3rd from the bottom on this list) is linked to/part of the Socialist Workers Party, which absolutely failed to deal with sexual assault allegations against its members in 2013/14. as far as I’m aware the others are all sound. but if you’re in the uk - protest, if you can. write to/email your mp, esp. if they’re a tory. ask them what they intend to do about racist policing AND healthcare access given the coronavirus figures we’re seeing coming out here!
