Self Introduction

Hello,

this is a side blog I decided to start to talk about what k-pop idols are really like, and before I get attacked let me explain where I’m going with this.

Idols look perfect.

Idols act perfect.

Many consider them to be so much more genetically blessed than an average person.

But truth be told we all, deep inside, know it’s not quite truth.

What I’ll do

I will make post talking about how idols achieve their perfection and why us ‘simple mortals’ dont match up with them.

My motivation

Too many people I know get insecurities from k-pop and look down on themselves, lose confidence because of k-pop. Recently my friend said she can’t listen and follow girl groups and soloists because she feels like she can never be like them and starts to hate herself so as a deffence mechanism she just avoids them. This is why I want to help people realise there’s no perfection and comparing yourself to an illusion is pointless.

Also I noticed the hate idols get when they slip up with their perfection and don’t live up to the standart or get unnecesary compared, so I want to show that they are still people. Real people behind the editing and cosmetics.

I do hope you’ll find my blog interesting and maybe even feel better after reading it.

Hi! Can I have a Block B ship please? I'm new and want to know who I'd fit with~ I'm a bit introverted & despite my natural instinct to seek quiet, I try hard to get out of my comfort zone and make friends.
