#blockout 2024

Over on Tiktok, people are organising to mass block celebrities that haven't talked about Palestine in a campaign called "Blockout 2024". This has spread to Twitter and Instagram as well.

The idea is to mass block a list of major celebrities, including their brands and fan pages, and ignore them. Celebrities get money when we hate on them, but blocking and ignoring them makes them loose attention and therefore money.

Does it work? Well yes! Lizzo lost several million followers in a day and has suddenly spoken out in support of Palestine. You only need to block a social media account. Its very easy.

Which platforms? As many as you have or use. This includes Spotify!

Which celebs? A lot of peoples blocklists vary but the names I've seen the most are:

Taylor Swift

Rihanna

Beyoncè

Kim Kardashian

Kylie Jenner

Selena Gomez

However, the idea is to block all celebrities and influencers that don't support Palestine or haven't spoken out for Palestine. This can be ANY celebrity or influencer, and yes, this includes Kpop and MCYT. Encourage your fandoms and fan bases to block!

YOU, the consumer, provide a celebrities income. No consumer, no income. It's time to utilise that power!

blockout 2024 is happening!!!! millions of people are blocking celebrities who are silent/neutral about palestine (and other things such as the congo) OR are open zionists.

celebrities will lose money and attention without follows, views, or their stores. there are accounts on tiktok giving block lists, and some include:

taylor swift, drake, the kardashians, tom brady, the jenners, kanye, dj khaled, madonna, billie eilish, bad bunny, jay z, kevin hart, and many many more

blockout also encourages doing other things to make celebrities lose money, such as going to their online shops, putting as much as you can into your cart, and leaving it on the payment screen. this causes the store to lose money as when your items are in the cart, they are essentially on hold and will cause a huge drop in stock.

you can also sign up for these stores with your email and mark all emails as spam. when you see an ad for these celebrities and their affiliated stores, report them and/or press not interested!! this messes with the system and tells tiktok/other medias that these ads are unwelcome and will put out less of them.

this is mainly for celebrities but includes any influencers. youtubers, artists, political figures, anyone. and when they realize that they are losing money, they will pretend to care. do not unblock them!!!

In case the news hasn't reached tumblr yet there is a block list for celebrities who went to the met gala (which costs 75,000 to attend) amd haven't spoken out about Palestine

Here is the blocklist. Lizzo removed after apologizing and donating. Zendaya and Selena Gomez on thin ice after an instagram story about raising money but no proof she donated and support in the past but intentional silence now

I haven't really seen this posted anywhere but for blockout2024 please remember if you use Spotify, listen to music on YouTube or use another type of music streaming service to unfollow all singers that have been silent about Palestine and went to the met gala. I'm saying this because I caught myself almost listening to a few artists that I already have blocked on other social media. Please also remove any of their songs from your playlists which is what I will be doing after posting this

They don't deserve our money, they don't deserve our attention, they don't deserve our time, and they certainly don't deserve our forgiveness, they have proven that more times than anyone can count
