Hannekes Boom Amsterdam

The place to be

Currently, one of the most trendy cafe/bar's is 'Hannekes Boom'. Located close to central station, Hannekes Boom is one of a kind and 'the place to be', especially in the summer.  All kinds of people come to Hannekes Boom, from students to couples, to married people with children.

If you're traveling by boat through the canals of Amsterdam, it's possible to anchor at the little dock that is connected to Hannekes Boom. The place has a great ('nature') atmosphere hanging around it and they offer a wide variety of events. They organize 'Full Moon Party's', Art expositions, live music, jazz sessions, vintage markets, and tons of other remarkable theme-nights. 

Recently, the people behind Hannekes Boom have branched out to a second bar called 'Bloemenbar'. This is another authentic bar with remarkable opening hours. They are open everyday from 20:00 till 04:00. On friday and saturday they are open from 20:00 til 05:00 which is really special in Amsterdam. Bloemenbar is full of weird furniture and the walls are decorated with all kinds of weird objects and graffiti.
