I’m done and proud of the result! Here are the cities/towns Gardendam (far left), Wilpfort (star shaped place), Mussenburg (small town with two small lakes) and Bloemendijk (far right)
the orange parts are houses and shops and the grey parts in Wilpfort and Bloemendijk are actually tiny castles left over from ancient times. Wilpfort in history was notoriously hard to conquer thanks to its many canals and walls. It’s shaped like a star because of that too!
Gardendam used to have a castle as well (and used to be a part of Wilpfort) but the voice of power residing in that castle tried to take away a lot of the rights of the civilians living there and thus the civilians protested and successfully... ah-hehm... kicked his bucket for him.. and destroyed the place. that’s also how they separated from Wilpfort.
