Hey guys!
It's been over a year since I've created this blog and a lot of things changed. With the state of the world right now, the state of the fandom, the knowledge I acquired, there's a lot of things I would have done differently if I was to start this blog now.
I don't plan on deleting this or my old posts even if some of them are poorly drawn or problematic. This blog is dear to me, so is the concepts I've explored.
Changes will be made. I might restart the storyline of this blog from scratch after emptying the askbox of questions that need to be answered within the current storyline.
Amongst other things, I might abandon the concept of Alfred's parents. Osyka didn't create a massive backlash and wasn't that poor of a character design, considering i didn't intend her to represent every tribe. Still, I feel conflicted about her and don't want to potentially do harmful things. I don't feel qualified to design the human incarnation for a tribe.
The other thing I feel not so comfortable with is Allen. Not his design or personality, if he comes back he'll still be a lovable punk guy. I have decided to alter his career choices for understandable reasons. My initial thought was that he would be the much needed change in the system, but now i realize that the very concept and structure of criminal justice is flawed and is in need of reforms.
Things that are important to me and I want to keep are the following:
chubfred (obviously)
his history of disordered eating and his recovery
healthy, loving relationship between Arthur and Alfred
Arthur's issues with self esteem and his family
Allen and Oliver engaged, living a domestic life
Allen being Alfred's past crush now turned good friend

Now, I learned Arthur was controversial as he's the only I got criticism on. Most of you picked someone you wanted to see more often for the least favorite.
You really want to see Matthew. Since all opinions were p popular I'll find a way to get more content out in each topic.

Random hc dump?
Arthur has a Manchester accent he tries to hide with a fake posh one. He still swears like a sailor.
Alfred can legally not swear (you probably noticed). He has dyslexia and ADHD. He does his best.
Allen is half Native- half African American.
Oliver plays DnD since middle school. He doesn’t like it when someone brings it up though.
Anya used to do ballet and aspired to be a professional (pre transition). Had to stop seriously training for medical reasons, that’s when she decided to study astrophysics. She still likes dancing, but possibly won’t ever have a career on that field.
Osyka has a big family with a lot of siblings and cousins.
Chun-yan can cook well but prefers to be cooked for.
Francis now started dating Gil
Gilbert is bigender, but more othen male than female (about 70%-30%). Sometimes they’re pysically dyphoric, but overall fine with either gender. When she presents as a female she goes all out though (uses the name. Uses all pronouns; they is always fitting, but the gendered ones depend on what they present as, although they much prefer these. Goes by Gilbert (masc), Gil (neutral/both) and Jülchen (fem).
