HK : Day three & four.
Ultra short post as I've been up to less these days. I went to a Karaoke bar with some of my cousins then to the cinemas to watch X-men.
The film had chinese subtitles seeing as obviously the whole thing was in English. People are exceptionally noisy though haha. There were these two people arguing because someone was chatting too loudly. Another person's phone rang and they just casually answered it. I guess anything goes in cinemas!
As for the Karaoke - well that was obviously fun, I love any occasion that involves singing. I love that they had choices ranging from kpop to Jpop which is so hard to find in K-bars situated in England, I sang my fair share of Utada Hikaru and SNSD with a good dose of English music such as Lady GaGa actually LOL. But I must admit I have to get up to date with the new music, I just sang old songs as they were the ones that I knew, I would've quite happily just sang the night away but my cousins had exams to study for and such. Sadly no photos for the past two days because when I'm roaming around with my cousins I feel so fobby whipping out my camera at every opportunity, and they're the "cool kids". Know what I mean?! You probably don't haha, I had Starbucks Green Iced Tea Frappuchino also - which was absolute heaven. Initially it was an alternative to Bubble Tea since there have been news reports of something infectious or bad in the bubbles/milk. It's from overseas, like Taiwan, where they've been using cheap ingredients and in severe cases this can cause infertility in women. But I think now I actually prefer the Green Tea Frappe.
Everyone's so sickeningly stylish here also - plus thin. My cousin, who is already crazy skinny, told me she was on a diet, and my soul just broke. I'm pretty sure she's a size 6 UK. Which is much smaller than me - and she tells me she's dieting? That's just upsetting. For someone like me who loves food, haha. Couldn't do me any harm in losing some weight too I must admit, but I'm just unmotivated. Sorry for the ramblings, I just didn't want to leave too large-a-gap for my posts.
Till later then ~
