As a student, grades are important. Because it reflects all our efforts and sweat in the whole grading period. In this blog I will show you the 8 Effective Ways to Improve Your Grades. With passion and dedication, expect a good grade to come.
Have a perfect work place
At home, after school arrange or set a specific place for you to get your homeworks and projects done. It could be a studying table beside an open window for you to breath fresh air. Having a perfectly arranged work place will make you a little bit motivated. And then start working on something.
Take down Notes (always)
In every class teachers usually don’t write something on the board. They often just speak it out. So even before a class start go grab your lecture notebook and your favorite pen, and start writing and summarizing what your teacher say about your topic for the day.
I usually take down notes because I like writing stuffs. And here’s another tip, when your teacher speaks fast open your phone and record everything, if possible. In that way you can arrange and re-write the lecture on your notebook more clearly.
Another tip, try other styles of taking down notes. Check out my next blog post. Here,
5 Fastest Ways of Taking Down Notes
Set-up a Goal
To get you motivated for you to study well, go and set up a goal for your future. Example, my goal is to be the Top 1 in class, because I’m only a Top 2. That will help to get you moving and work harder for your grades. So after achieving your goals, go ahead and treat yourself something good like a bunch of food or your favorite book in the store.
Re-read your Lectures
Of course in getting a high grade, you must first learn what your lesson is all about. So first you can read an overview or the summary of the lesson then proceed to studying it. After class, when you got home re-read and review your lessons because I’m sure tomorrow your teacher will ask you about the topic yesterday. In that case, you’ll get to answer her/ his questions without looking in your notebook and reading it fast.
Have a Smart Friends
When it comes to friends, we sometimes need to be a little picky. Good friends are better, but Smart Friends are way better. Smart friends help you and motivate you to study and get your assignments done before anything else. They can be boring and a little bit techy but it doesn’t matter as long as you are around with the right hands.
You can always suggest for you all to have a Group Study that you will surely love.
Be Active
Being active physically and mentally will help you focus more on your studies. Always remember to raise your hand if you are sure with your answer. It will help you build up your confidence in the future. Also volunteer to help your classmate who are in need of your assistance. In this case, you will help yourself be more confident.
Manage your Time
School is not easy as we thought. It needs patience and management, especially in time. Because time is gold, we do not want it to go down to waste. So, when your class ended get your sticky note and write your to-do list for the day. In this technique you will be able to know what you will do next after the task is done.
Give Your Brain a Break
Your brain is not that tough, it needs a break. After a long day of reading, listening and writing. Take a good sleep your body and brain need. Because after a long day of school, what you need is food and music. Then proceed to do your homework and project.
Several glasses of water a day would be great for your break time, and a pair of cookies that will surely get you energized. Try to read or browse some inspirational quotes to get you motivated.
