All Part of the Game [[ Baran & Bette ]]
Baran Flinders didn't know what possessed his higher-ranking colleagues to give him a position of power, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't enjoying it. The rank didn't really suit his sister anyway; Selinda of course had her bad days, but this job would take qualities that his dear sibling just didn't have.
Now that he was head of the Light's forces at Hogwarts, it was time to set a few of his immediate ideas in motion. He'd have to start things small for now, but the sooner there was an underlying fear of terror in the school the better.
Speaking of which, there was one of his favorite playthings now; Bette Kane. Ahh, who better to start this game off with than one of his favorite pieces?
She was alone, probably coming back from Hogsmeade after shopping or laughing or whatever those ridiculous Hufflepuffs did when they wandered away from their adult supervision. But no one else being around meant that know one would miss her until at least dinner time, and he would probably be done by then.
"Evening, love," Baran called out as she passed by where he was standing, "What bring you back so early on a fine day like this?"
