found some unfinished trad art of blondie from last summer… i go back and forth on whether i want him to be digitigrade and have more animalistic paws or if he should be plantigrade and able to wear shoes

nothing super finished and i have more art of blondie than i do of finn BUT!! here’s some stuff that’s not too terribly old. a kinda-sorta ref sheet for blondie and some of his facial expressions/details and then a rough drawing of a “comic book cover” for it. thank you for asking!! i have a soft spot for these boys and this story :’)

10. if they wear jewelry, what kind? do they prefer silver or gold? do they have a favorite gem? — he keeps it pretty simple, i think! blondie takes a lot of cues from 1950s greaser fashions, so i think at most he might wear an occasional gold chain necklace or gold band ring. he likes the look of sapphires and opals, but wouldn’t wear them himself.

16. do they have any pets? if so, what do they call them? — this is such a good question… blondie is an anthro character in an all-anthro world so i honestly haven’t put too much thought as to how “regular” animals are handled in his setting 😅 i think MAYBE he could have a family dog but i’d have to think more on what its breed/name/etc would be.

32. do they have any habits that aren’t particularly self-destructive, just odd? — he’s always had a habit of just wandering off or doing his own thing if he’s bored or uninterested in whatever’s going on, ignorant to how concerning some people (like friends and family) find that behavior. he also enjoys sneaking into the haunted house attraction of the boardwalk where he works after hours just to explore and look at the decorations.
