Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 3/4 cup light brown sugar. 1 large egg. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1 cup white chocolate chips.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a separate larger bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until well combined. Add egg, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to the butter mixture, stirring until smooth. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in white chocolate chips. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow blondies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
