Recipe: Medi is oblivious, but they try!, Hair touching, Awkward Dikke, Blonney being a rich girl, And a sugar mommy?, She just likes spoiling you
WC: 703
Chef's Note: I hope you don't mind that this is super short! I just wanted to get this out, and I didn't want to write a full fic for 3 characters at a time! If you like these little bite sized fics, let me know! They're honestly way less stress for me, and I can get them out quicker!
Medicine Pocket
…It takes a moment for Medi to realize there’s something different about you, to be honest. They’re so wrapped up in their work, they don’t spare a second glance. They simply mutter a generic reply when you try to get their attention, too focused on what’s in front of them to care. After you clear your throat, they’ll look up. They’ll squint at you for a moment, realizing something’s off, but not knowing what.
“Uhhh… new glasses?”
Once they realize what’s going on, they’ll feel incredibly silly. Their face will heat up, and they’ll get very defensive about it. “How was I supposed to know?!” is thrown out, though they do feel bad for not noticing sooner.
They’ll compliment it awkwardly. They aren’t one for fashion, nor any form of self care, but they do like how it looks on you. They just don’t know how to express it.
Once you two are alone, without Medi’s nose in their studies, Medi is ALL over your new hair. Touching it, playing with it, brushing it with their fingers. At one point, they start petting you like one would a dog, even giving the baby talk along with it. They’re so used to giving their canines affection, they’ve forgotten how to give humans normal affection. You can correct them if you’d like, and they’ll stop. But honestly? It feels nice.
Dikke
Dikke freezes when she first sees you. She stares at you from across the room, acclimating to your new look. For a moment, you’re worried that she may be mad at you. Did you offend her in some way? You don’t remember anything you could have done. When she approaches you, it’s with such determination that you’re worried you may meet the end of her sword.
“You look… nice…” The words fight to escape her mouth, her whole face becoming flushed in response. She doesn’t dare look you in the eyes, her body rigid, her expression the same. If you weren’t used to Dikke’s antics, you might have thought that she was attempting to lie, but you knew her far better than that.
“Thank you!” You respond, reaching for her hand. She jumps at the touch, but quickly accepts it, threading her fingers into yours.
“Y-Your hair is… pretty…” She continues. Affection through words is not her strong suit. However, she still wants to compliment you, despite how embarrassed it makes her to do so.
“I’m glad you like it, my knight.” You smile, caressing the back of her hand with your thumb.
Blonney
When you mentioned getting your hair cut, Blonney was over the moon.
She brought you to her favorite place, and made sure to spare no expense on your new look. The hairdressers were high tier stuff, whatever you wanted for your hair? They were able to replicate.
You walk into the waiting room to see her, feeling a bit nervous. However, the moment she sees you, her face lights up. She jumps out of her seat, wrapping her arms around you and pulling you into a tight hug. Every compliment she can give is exclaimed loudly, as she spins you in her arms. It’s embarrassing, the entire waiting room’s eyes glued onto the two of you, but you’re so overcome with affection that you can ignore it.
Once Blonney releases you from her embrace, you can tell she’s only getting more excited. “Now we have to get a new outfit for you!” She says, grabbing your hand and dragging you off to the nearest mall.
Blonney has always loved dressing you up, but with the new haircut? It’s like a whole new beast was unleashed. She keeps in mind your preferred fashion style, making sure to get only things she knows you’ll like to wear. Her eye for fashion is incredibly good, and every outfit she picks makes you almost dizzy with confidence.
At the end of the day, the two of you will be relaxing on the couch, and Blonney will be playing with your hair. She’ll tell you all the ways you can style it, and how she’d like to see you wear it. The two of you stay cuddled up there until you fall asleep.
Recipe: Established Relationship, Insecure Reader, Horror Movie Nerds, Super Sweet Couple Stuff, Reassurance
WC: 1,130
Chef's Note: This one is kinda based off of me and my girlfriend tehe <3 I can't spend Valentine's Day with her because she's working, but I can write this and pretend lol
It was quiet at home without your girlfriend.
You’d always been more of a homebody, and she was ever the socialite. This led to most of the tension in your relationship, with situations where you wanted to go home, and she wanted to stay out. You felt bad, how could you not? It felt like you were dimming her sparkle. Every time you tugged her sleeve like a kid pleading with their mother, begging her to say goodbye so you could share the ride home.
She always looked so happy with her friends. There was a light in her eyes, an aura about her that sparkled whenever she was engrossed in conversation. You don’t know if she looked that way when she spoke to you. You’d get too sidetracked by the conversation to focus on her body language. The two of you were quite passionate people, after all. When you began talking, it was as if the entire world had been shut out.
And here you were, alone on the couch. You curled up in the corner, staring at the dark screen of the tv. You missed her. She was the sun, and you? Were just some guy.
“Babe, you mind opening the door? I got my hands full.” The familiar voice of Blonney shook you from your wistful gazing. You perked up immediately, running to help her with the door.
“As promised, lunch is served.” She said with a smile, handing you a bag of your favorite fast food. She had one of her own, with a cup holder filled with drinks for the both of you. “God, you would not believe the mobs out there. You would have hated it.” She started, trotting her way to the couch. She placed her food on the table, beginning to sort through it.
“Busy, yeah? For the holiday.” You awkwardly muttered, taking the seat next to her.
“Like you wouldn’t believe! Here, sauce.” She tosses you a few packets of sauce, which you accept graciously. “You’d think the mall was fuckin’ Mecca! The way people crowded around it.”
“You went to the one in the mall?” You asked, raising an eyebrow at Blonney. There were plenty of other chains dotted around town, some closer than the mall. It was certainly an odd choice.
“Duuuuuh,” She popped a straw in her drink. “That’s your favorite one, isn’t it? They always give a little extra if you wink at them.” She recalls.
A bit of heat enters your cheeks. She’s right. That is your favorite one. The workers are always nice there, and they do give out favorable portions. The foods the same no matter where you go, though. Did Blonney go through all that just because it’s your favorite?
“Did you pick out a movie, by the way?” She asks.
You nod. “Dead Girls. The one from a few years ago.” You point to the VHS on the table, a bit away from your food.
“Wait, really?!” She perks up. “The one that I’ve been talking about, like, forever? The one about the Metal Band?”
Suddenly feeling a bit shy, you retreat back to your corner. “The people at Blockbuster had to order it, but they managed to find a copy. I had to pay a little extra, but I had it covered.” You explain, pulling your knees to your chest.
She looks at you like you’re the most beautiful thing in the world, before springing a hug on you. “Awee, babe! You shouldn’t have! That’s like, the sweetest thing ever.”
“It’s nothing.” You argue. “I was going to show you right away, but it arrived on the twelfth, and I thought it’d be better for a Valentine's date.”
“You romantic, you!” She teases. You simply shrug, and turn back to your food. Finally mustering the hunger to take a bite. “Well, come on then, pop it in! Let’s get this!”
You start getting up, before pausing.
The guilt and shame from before starting to rise again. Blonney’s a beautiful girl, not to mention she’s someone used to the finer things in life. Was this really an OK way for her to spend her Valentines day? Eating fast food on the couch while watching a slasher? She should be at some fancy dinner, or maybe a bar. With someone as social as her, talking the night away.
Noticing your hesitance, she speaks.
“Everything alright, hun?”
You bite your lip, forcing back a white lie. You should be honest with her, for the sake of the relationship, and for her Valentine's day. If she doesn’t want to be here, you don’t want her to feel forced.
“Are you… happy?” You bumble out, staring down at your feet.
“Like, right now? Or with my life?”
“About this. About us.” You peep. You can’t believe you’re talking to her like this, your fragile confidence trembling at the thought of her reply.
She leans over, lifting up your face.
Only to blow the end of your straw wrapper into your face.
“Stop playing around, of course I’m happy! Why wouldn’t I be? I get to spend a great holiday with a great person, eating great food and watching a great movie!”
“But wouldn’t you be happier around your friends? Around people who know how to talk? Around people who are… y’know?”
“Not socially awkward?” She teases.
“Yes! Exactly!” You give a nod.
Blonney laughs, as if your anxieties are the funniest thing she’s ever heard. “No! What? Not at all! Don’t get me wrong, I love my friends and all, but they pale in comparison to you.”
You blink, not believing her in the slightest.
“You’re… different. Nerdy, certainly. Extremely so. But that’s what I like about you. You’re so honest about your interests, about what and who you are. It lets me feel safe around you. Like I can let my guard down and be myself, without worrying that you’re secretly judging me for everything I say.” She giggles. “You’ve also got this… passion. A light in your eyes when you talk about something you like, your aura it just… sparkles. The conversations I have with you, whether they’re about horror, or some new video game, or a fact you heard somewhere. They always feel so new and exciting. I’ve learned so much from you. About the world, and myself.” She gazes off as she finishes her sentence, a slight blush on her cheeks.
“Who’s the romantic now, Bonbon?” You tease, crumpling up the straw wrapper and tossing it back at her.
“Hey! I was being serious!” She laughs.
You stand, taking hold of the VHS, and moving to pop it into the tv.
It was quiet at home without your girlfriend. But you had to admit, you liked it better when she was around.
I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO CALL YOU AS SO I JUST WENT WITH 😞anon SINCE YOU USED IT A LOT HUHU
you seem so cool wahhh,, and so friendly omg 🥹🫶 i had a bit of trouble picking characters, but i hope you like this one! (if you're curious about who i picked before this, just ask!! i wouldn't mind if you wanted me to write for them as well >◡<)
« pretty, stylish, and always with the latest handbag. she perfectly fits the stereotype of the extravagant rich girl. »
:; you mentioned wanting someone who either matches your vibe or lets you wind down a bit — for BLONNEY, i believe that she'd be a great mix of both!
you and blonney have similar interests; fashion plays a large part. i believe that blonney would definitely bond with you through this topic, and i also believe it's what drove blonney to befriend you.
you also mentioned taking an interest towards reading, which is another reason as to why i chose blonney. in the story event, we learn of blonney's fondness for writing stories, and i believe that the both of you could also get along well with literature, etc.
personalities, how do they correlate?
. blonney fits the typical blonde stereotype; flamboyant, stylish, rich ... that's somewhat of a flaw i saw in picking out my characters, since as i read your request, i firstly couldn't see blonney being with you. it was only when i looked into it more and imagined what dynamic the two of you would have, is what made me choose her.
. still, that doesn't answer the question of why i chose her.
. to start off, you mentioned being more quiet at first — it's only when you're more comfortable and casualized with the person, you'd show your friendlier and energetic side. i'd imagine that after getting to know each other more, your more expressive side starts to show.
. you also mentioned that you liked having someone that would fit your vibe, or at least let you wind down and relax a bit. in the first part, i said that blonney would fit both — she is someone who likes to relax and just get her mind off of other people by going to the spa, getting a massage, etc. but at the same time, she is the stereotypical party girl — of course, she'd be bubbly and a bit energetic, like you.
. the both of you have many mutual interests and similarities, so that's another reason as to why i chose her.
. i believe that blonney is someone who is straight-forward — if she didn't want to hang out at the moment, she's not hanging out. so with that, rest-assured that blonney is not one to stand anyone up, especially after planning a whole thing with you.
. blonney is definitely someone you could have fun with. you can be as chaotic as you want with her, and she'd reflect that same chaos — or you can just relax and let yourself exist around her.
spending time with blonney
. blonney would definitely drag you along on her parties and spa days. whenever you're feeling more outgoing, she'd offer you to dress up for a party she's going to or something — for when you're feeling more calm, she'd offer to do facemasks with you.
. fashion is definitely something that the both of you have in common — she's always been interested in it, despite having a whole different major.
. she'd often participate in fashion show-offs with you, and the both of you act as each others' judge. i just know that she'd absolutely love doing them with you — she loves to rate your outfits and having you rate hers.
. shopping at malls and popular places is something the both of you do often. shopping for pieces of clothing for your little show-offs, buying desserts from some fancy cafe ... she loves shopping, and she'd love having you to accompany her.
. whenever you're both shopping for clothing, she often asks for your opinion in trying out outfits.
. blonney lets you pay for the stuff you both buy sometimes — but you know she's from this rich family, and she'd feel bad having to make you buy things for her ...
. regarding the topic of music: blonney's era was the 1990's, so she'd listen to any trendy bands like nirvana, the lemonheads, etc. if you shared the same music tastes as hers, she would absolutely love listening to music with you.
. listening to music with you everywhere >>>
. reading books with blonney is kind of a wildcard ... at times, she's not too interested in literature — she really just reads because her someone told her to or something. though there are still times where blonney is invested in a book series — she'd totally binge read it with you if you were up for it!
. on the topic of baking i think that blonney is somewhat decent in it. maybe she'd help you grab some ingredients, but she'd never really bake on her own.
. i imagine blonney using her arcane skill to make a makeshift oven for you to use
. i feel like blonney might take a small taste of your desserts — but that doesn't mean she doesn't like it!! based off of her voicelines, she's focused on keeping her figure (morning voiceline) but she'd definitely be your taste-tester if you asked her to!
i feel like this was kind of short, IM SO SORRYYYY ૮₍ ˃̵͈᷄ . ฅ ₎ა i really hope you like this,, don't be afraid to ask if you want me to write for another one of the characters i originally thought of !!
