Okay I just got through watching Blazblue Chronophantasma’s story, the last game with dubbing. And MAN this is confusing.

Calamity Trigger, when Nu says this is the third time she and Ragna have met, I was expecting there to be WAY more repeats.

I mean I KNOW that the game basically uses the Phenomena Interventions or Continuum Shifts to basically separate the Arcade and Story modes so all of them are canon without having any affect on the canon ending. (Ragna and Litchi remember other timelines (other game modes) in their canon paths/stories).

Then Rachel activating the Tsukuyomi Unit, at first I thought the BIG problem about that was just the fact that she intervened a lot, bad for an Observer like her, but now I feel like there’s something I missed.

Then about the Continuum Shift, was Hazama just rewinding time to the point where Ragna got out of the NOL facility, cause I DOUBT Amaterasu was rewinding EVERYTHING back to the Black beast?

Then we got Chronophantasma, this is where I knew the arcade modes are canon after I saw Ragna flash to Azrael’s arcade mode and “remember” his limiter.

I am resisting going on another Jin and Tsubaki rant also so i won’t bug you.

Also about the part where Ragna went back in time and became Bloodedge, I feel like that was way too short (at least the time he spent there), the way Jubei, in the past during the year “Bloodedge” was stalling the Beast, talked about him sounded like they’d been traveling together for a while before he sacrificed himself. Since Jubei seemed REALLY upset about his sacrifice I just feel like they didn’t know each other that much for that kind of reaction. Plus, Juebi kept mentioning how many times Ragna said he’d “fight on as a human being” or something. He never said that ONCE, during his time in the past. Also wouldn’t Ragna saying his name kind of make some kind of weird time thing, since Jubei eventually trained Ragna. Then there is the weird loop of Ragna giving his coat and sword to Celica, and then in the future getting them when he finished his training with Jubei. How did he get them back when he returned to the present?

Also, the new character themes in CP kind a stink, I liked the old themes better. Only Bang’s seems to be alright, at the cost of his new VA sounding like he needs to clear his throat. Although they did play Hazama and Bang’s original themes during some of their awesome cutscenes 9the beginning and when Bang uses the Rettenjo).

Also, what purpose does Bloodedge Experience have on canon?

Remix Heart series shows Noel and her friends in the military academy plus some more worldbuilding, XBlaze (at least the first one), shows the creation/purpose of Takamagahara I believe, so what does BE have to do with canon? As far as I know, it shows a bit of backstory for Relius and Valkenhayn’s supposed rivalry in the games.

Just some little pet peeves of mine/thoughts.

I don’t need to justify myself. Bloodedge updated design upon ye. I feel like I’m getting closer to Baiken without it just being white haired Baiken.

I should do a Bedman Jin design, but what would their name be? Jomeo? Hakuman? Might be Hakuman… All I know is that while I might do a design of Saya and Delilah, I will not be doing a design of Izanami and Delilah.
