Al didn’t like the weather in Skyrim. She hated the cold. But, she did like the fact that as long as she didn’t step on too many toes and remained just polite enough (but not too polite), people left her alone and didn’t ask questions like what she was doing out by herself or where she got the money from to buy supplies. At least, most of the time.
She had known it was only a matter of time before someone approached her. Or more than one someones in this case. One of them asked if she was lost or had been separated from her parents.
“No, they’re nearby. We just had to split up to get all the items we need.” She glanced around a bit. “In fact, there’s..” Yes, that woman would probably do. “My aunt!”
She sprinted over to the woman. “It’s about time you showed up, Aunt Lyn..da! I’ve been waiting for you for a while.”
Al gestured with her head to the men still looming, hoping the other would play along. If not, she would just run.
