"Who's there!?" It really wasn't a smart idea to sneak up on Amelia while she was practicing. As she aimed her arrow at the person in the shadows, her eyes narrowed. "What do you want?"
An Unlikely Ally (Garrett&Gabriella)
Gabriella couldn't believe she had come to this - travelling to Alaska to spend some time with her "extended family" while she attempted to get her blood lust under control. She knew that becoming a vampire was going to be no walk in the park. She knew of the challenges that she would come across because she had witnessed it with her own family. But this was more tougher than Gabriella had realized. She felt like this was her only option, and while she had met the Denali's before, she couldn't help the nerves that seemed to be taking over her immortal body.
Once Gabriella arrived at her destination, she remained seated in the car, lost in thought. She was beyond nervous, and she even know how to calm herself down in this new form - everything was still new to her. In truth, she had no idea why she was so nervous. Maybe it was because she didn't want the Denali's to feel like she was a burden? Gabriella didn't want that at all - she just needed some help.
Taking in a deep unnecessary breath, Gabriella forced herself to get a grip before exiting the car. The sound of movement coming from the large house was more than enough to tell her that someone was present at the time of her arrival. The newly turned vampire used her vampire speed to make her way towards the front door. She had a feeling that if she walked slowly, then her thoughts would get the best of her and she would run the other way. Gabriella's body went on auto pilot as she knocked three times on the door. She took a step back and waited for someone to answer.
If there is a Vampire in my presence, let him speak ----
❝You look exactly like someone I've never met before or am I wrong?❞
