Are there any beyond the spiderverse leakers? Someone who saw the leaks said margo either didn’t appear at all or only had a small scene next to gwen, if I’m remembering correctly. I’m shaking because it feels like a hint that margo doesn’t have a huge role if they didn’t even include her in the trailer. I’m starting to accept that flowerbyte probably won’t be endgame and miles will end up going back to gwen lmao. So if you’re a leaker, please tell me something.

What're your Margo headcanons?

I wrote all of these during a layover or on the plane, productive flight I think!

loves coding and organizing/categorizing stuff sooooooo much, Miguel and all the other admin spiders have learned to hand her those tasks bc they know it makes her  so happy

Favorite colors are pink and purple, everything and everything she owns is those two colors

Then why is there blue in her suit/appearence? Because she has EYES and it makes for a GOOD Color Scheme THANKYOUVERYMUCH /silly

That being said she has a fairly hidden talent for art, mostly painting and a good eye for color but she has fun indulging in it as a just for her hobby offline

We don’t have a lot of info on her, and what I have gauged is that the VR travel is fairly standard in her universe, buuuuuuut I headcanon that she has agoraphobia due to some past health issues and the VR helps her still be able to participate and help people while she works through it

Baby of her family and youngest sibling of 3, combine that with the aforementioned health issues and you get a weird relationship with her parents that’s a combination of overprotectiveness and “pls pls pls i want my mom”, her and her parents are doing their best together

In therapy and thinks everyone she meets in the Spider Society absoLUTELY needs to be in therapy too, none of her business and she likes it that way but someone will say something and she’ll hit the 🤨 face

Ofc a huge gaming nerd, she grew up with hand me down Pokémon titles from her siblings so she’s BIG into that, loves loves loves games like Hollow Knight and Ori, cozy games are a little slow for her but she likes intricately recreating her friends in Tomodachi Life

My girl loves to Move!!!!!! She’s constantly fidgeting/stimming, she prefers to work standing, in a constant state of Zoomies and will sometimes split off just to run around the society headquarters

Lactose and gluten intolerant 😔😔 found out the hard way, she’s mostly vegetarian to avoid it but has trouble advocating for herself in group meal situations, Hobie and Pav are always happy to ask for her or go with her to ask for support and all the spider kids carry safe foods for her when they hang out just in case

Her and Gwen are such friends don’t pmo, I mentioned it in my Gwen headcanons but they body double constantly and love to good naturedly spook each other as greetings

Margo loves instrumental music more than anything and has a millions perfectly curated playlists of video game music for every occasion

Other than instrumentals, she’s a major riot grrrl fan and one of her big goals for therapy with her agoraphobia is to be able to comfortably go to a concert and mosh (Hobie and Gwen have promised to take her when she’s ready, their treat)

Even tho she can customize her VR avatar, she doesn’t change her nails from how they look irl bc she likes doing crazy intricate nail designs

Loves graphic and bright makeup and follows a bunch of makeup artists for ideas and inspo

Her and Miles are friends on an online sudoku website and compete about who can do which levels the fastest and most accurate, it tends to split 50/50 which is impressive bc Margo is famous in the spider-society for beating Everyone at sudoku

Does long division for fun when she’s bored (major projecting here lol)

Her favorite way to wear her hair is her two puffs so she won’t change it often, but she takes Real Good care of her hair. Like, she’s done the research and knows all the best hair care things and splurges on the nice stuff when she can. Gwen mentions using 2-in-1 and the look Margo gives her is so simultaneously disgusted and disappointed Gwen couldn’t do anything but laugh

Veryyyyy competitive, not in an unhealthy way or anything, but when she gets into a game she’s In It To Win It, her naturally dry/sarcastic sense of humor evolves into the best trash talk you’ve ever heard

When she first physically comes to spider-society all her friends lose their shit bc she didn’t tell them (wanted to surprise them and also didn’t want to make a big deal of it so it didn’t make her anxiety worse) and Gwen nearly knocks her over in a hug

All of her friends are super mindful of her wellbeing and do their absolute best to respect her boundaries, always offering her space or comfort on her own timeline and will happily be her human shields when they’re out and about irl together

She’s actually super touchy and loves hugs and casual affection, her and Hobie are constantly laying/leaning on each other whenever they’re together, her and Gwen do big hugs where Gwen will pick her up and spin her (Gwen and Hobie two tallest, Margo’s the shortest) and Margo will rub her back and they bury their faces in each other’s shoulders, she and Pav fidget with each other’s hands all the time and have matching fidget rings, and she and Miles are holding hands one billion percent of the time

Not a big sweets person but she’s a fiend for energy drinks, anything pink or purple flavored ofc

Accessories to the max!!!! She’s made oodles and oodles of kandi and her and Peni have crafting dates

She’s sapphic to me, she doesn’t like to get more specific past that bc “I have to save my friend and the multiverse so idrc about that rn :/“ /ref

Definitely has some xenogender or neopronouns going on there tho

Girls Nights with Gwen and Peni are her favorite thing ever and they stay up super late playing video games, watching dumb rom coms, and eating comfort foods before collapsing in a pile and sleeping till noon

The first time she offered to host irl they were really excited for and proud of her, and when she asked her parents they cried bc they were so proud of her

Her family loves her friends and are so happy and relieved that she has such close friends that clearly love her and respect her health and happiness

This got way longer than intended lol. Idk I loved her design and concept in atsv and I wish we had gotten more of her!! I think she deserves all the love and support possible and I really hope she gets more screentime in btsv 💗💜🕷️💻🩵💿🎮🩷👾

Margo Kess Rant

Margo Kess's ability to duplicate working holograms of herself is so intreseting. I hope she has more screentime in BTSV because a power like that could be really useful in The Spot fight, especially the fact that shes technically a hologram herself with some kind of VR headset tech.

I wish the fandom would even eknowledge Margo past being a cope second intreset for Miles from Gwen haters. There was obiviously was a teasing cute moment between them but I think she was just fooling around with the new guy, the only other female character around Miles' age isnt just your shipping fuel.

I find her moment where Margo decides not to listen to Miguel and think for herself to be a very good seed for some kind of mini character development from a side character, of course she wont take but all of the spot light but I'm dying to learn more about her.

Margo's also just so drop dead gorgeous, her hologram colors tickle my brain. (Also Bisexual flag coded........hehehe new headcanon)
