Booker had plans to go out into the forest and spend her night alone, carving figurines out of wood or napping all day, but of course, that simply wasn’t going to work. So instead of having a nice, relaxing evening, the Dragon found herself carrying a bloody bear cub over her shoulder. The creature wasn’t exactly light, and didn’t seem to be enjoying the ride, so it showed it’s discomfort by clawing at her shoulder and trying to wiggle away. Booker was in more than just a bit of pain, but she pressed on and hurried back to civilization, looking for someone that could help her treat the animal’s wound. “Hey, I need some help over here!” She shouted at the nearest person she could find. Booker had her clothes and part of her face smeared with blood, and the cub on her shoulder was moving and wailing like no tomorrow, it wasn’t exactly the friendliest sight. Booker hoped the stranger would be able to see past that and help her out, because the animal was running out of time.
“Holy shit!” Jody spoke mostly to himself, seeing the woman covered in blood with-- not a dog. Was that a bear? That was a bear noise, the strange cry but obviously in pain. He was of the same mind as Booker, out for a pleasant walk in the woods. He hadn’t gotten very far before seeing her and hearing her shout and after the shock of the sight wore off he ran towards her, unsure of what was going on or how he could help.
