Finally got to catching up on the latest part of Blades, and the first thing I will say is blimey. A lot happened in that one.
The Ash Empress is a bit on the scary side. Ripping off her own daughter's arm was absolutely brutal. And then putting Light magic into Valax, which goes into my next point.
It feels like of all the characters being set to achieve Balance magic, the first could actually be Valax! As unfortunate as it was to see her leave the party, it looks like she is questioning things, and I do believe she will return to the party and properly become a part of it.
I was surprised by the revelation of the Watcher being a construct like Valax as he was giving off some red flags, and did until the end.
The tablet mentioning about the barrier needing to be there to stop the realms converging into one, I must admit I'm wondering if that would be a completely bad thing. It would work out better for the Ashen who are in the Shadow realm version of Riverbend (can't remember it's name at this current moment in time)
But yeah. Thems me thoughts
⬇️⬇️ how did this happen 😱🤯⬇️⬇️
Guess I'm doing something right 🤔😁

He mounted and sped on his way; while Tess stood and waited. The atmosphere turned pale, the birds shook themselves in the hedges, arose, and twittered; the lane showed all its white features, and Tess showed hers, still whiter. The huge pool of blood in front of her was already assuming the iridescence of coagulation; and when the sun rose a hundred prismatic hues were reflected from it. Prince lay alongside, still and stark; his eyes half open, the hole in his chest looking scarcely large enough to have let out all that had animated him.
One of the countless stop-and-re-read-it bits from Tess of The d’Urbervilles: Hardy’s beautiful way of describing her and the dead horse in the approaching dawn.
