🕷 Layla was well aware of the box she was locked in at the marine base. Who needed to send her to impel down when the thing that was stopping her was one man manning a large marine ship. It’s not like she could swim away , ha.
She’d ditched her father a while ago taking to morning basic tasks, training but it was such a breeze as the other new cadets struggled. The spider had harder days at Rainbase then running laps and lifting weights. Sure getting sweaty wasn’t her ideal state but it kept her away from Krattz and Jurry.
Jurry had an unholy obsession with her, a bond that her father wasn’t aware of. As far as the lieutenant was the vice-admiral just wished to make a right women out of the young pirate. Layla would rather drown then be forced into such an arrangement. Today was a right nightmare being that Jurry wasn’t alone; his toddler of a cousin was with him. Spandam.
Gods, what was wrong with the men in this family? Who gave these children so much power? As they talked down to her, Layla strategized her escape. Which was just a quick escape out one of the windows. Unlike for them they couldn’t walk up walls like she could. Or at least they were so taken by shock she’d jump! So, as she got to one of the upper balconies she sat down.
Letting out a sigh it was short lived, Someone was here. She didn’t know who but something was wrong. Really wrong. Slowly the spider moved to one of the corners of the balcony. Why did she not like this feeling? Who was here? At least looking foreword she could watch the door before her. 🕷
