Serph'da || The human disease|| @bloodyb1ts
Serph’da referred to herself as Maria on the occasions when she was human; despite not sounding the part. Sometimes, she’d take the body of any young lady who begged so graciously to be beautiful and took them, ripped their soul and heart to shreds, and made their form a belonging of her own. Often, liberties were taken and rights were endowed; she never took anyone’s skin and expected human sludge to make the perfect animal that could captivate an entity of her grace.
Recently, the body of a girl who was named ‘Libby’ was made a martyr to her disposal. She had immediately taken the shred of an opportunity to overture her mind and destroy her completely in her dreams and now…she was Libby; but a pretty Libby and one with long, red, hair and beautiful blue eyes that were met with the hands of perfection. Serph’da had become very inclined to this form and, my god, she was beautiful. She thought she was beautiful.
Today, she sat in a coffee shop. With the weather at her side and a comforting view outside the window, she felt calmness come about her and, quite honestly, she did adore the human world. Traveling in between universes was an advantage of being a being of no set form but humans…humanity…they had eyes for what was beautiful and ears for what words made things seem pleasant. Often, she’d come to the Human world to do something but sit, drink her chai tea, and pretend to be a human.
And human, she was; Human for now.
It was so satisfying to feel like she was embraced by the light of the world. It was so soft to sit there and let it hold her in its presence. No one seemed to coil in fear and everything was peaceful enough for her to feel the slight compulsion to destroy it; all love set aside.
Humanity went on without her. How interesting. She took a sip of her tea, softly with her red lips slipping over the earthenware cup, sometimes glancing to side to watch the people. It was like she was peering upon them through a spy glass; looking upon them as they talked and laughed, sometimes wondering is should…feed.
