The silhouette of the stranger alone was enough to send chills down Ian’s spine. Despite haling from a part of Aaltone that was heavily populated with Demons, the fear of the unknown was still ingrained in the teenager’s mind. Who ever he had encountered was a far cry from anything that he had ever seen. He had half a mind to high-tail it out of there, to just turn his back and abandon the whole situation- but the field biologist in him was crying out for answers! 

And so, in spite of his better judgement; he pulled his notebook from his backpack and walked slowly towards the stranger. 

“Uhm... excuse m-me..?”

A professor is found dead and Flowers is called in to help find the killer. What happens when all of the suspects are smart?” Another great read from Sandford. Full of his fast-pace writing. Flowers gets to wear a bunch of his vintage band shirts...and doesn’t shoot anybody. Davenport has a cameo. And the killer is someone unexpected. Little worried about that ending.
