Rotting teeth never saved you from yourself

Packs of cigarrettes passed through your mouth

Filled with love, now it's filled with doubt

Playing rough till your mind's content

Delicate fingers dancing around your neck

Gripping tight, your eyes roll back

Succumbing to the needs you lack

Can't stop the feeling of euphoria

The temporary high makes you feel alive

Pour another round of tequila

Getting drunk till your eyes turn white

The sun is shining, but your mind is elsewhere

You showed them signs, but they don't seem to care

Erasing a part of yourself was only fair

They like it better when you're not there

How much longer can you take this?

You think everybody has their phases
