Considering there wasn’t much that required immediate attention he wasn’t bothered for the time being. “It’s hardly of any hindrance.” he responded quietly, looking away from her and off into the distance.

''u-uh yeah...'' she said rubbing her neck. ''But how are you?'' she asked.

Her sincerity seemed to snap him out of his more intense thoughts as his eyes locked onto hers once again. Wondering now what he could share with Inoue that would be considered a sufficient answer to such a question.

“I— I am alert and physically well.” he managed to say with enough confidence.
