A while ago I made a post about how we have Legend fearing everyone else is a dream but we should also consider Time fearing that all of them will forget about him.

Imagine that one day Legend wakes up in the middle of the night after a nightmare about Koholint, Time was on watch and went to comfort him. Legend throws himself towards Time and hugs him hard, wanting to hear the old man breathing and to feel the comforting warmth of his body, trying to grasp the fact that maybe Time is real, maybe he's here, maybe he does really have others at his side and he's not alone.

The next morning Legend apologizes with Time about what happened, but Time gives him a side hug and confesses that it's ok. He has a similar fear too. After leaving the Master Sword on her pedestal, during Termina, everyone forgot about him and even if he loved them as close friends, they only saw him as "someone they knew". So Time tells him that he fears that one day, the chain will forget about him, that he won't be "their old man" but just another hero they know.

And both heroes make a promise then. Time promises Legend that he's real and Legend promises Time that he's never gonna forget him. Both know is an impossible promise, a dream doesn't realize it's not real until it disappears and someone can't remeber something that it never happened. Yet they make that promise to eachother, as a way to reassure their own heart, like if promising something in exchange will fullfil the other promise.

Since then, when Legend feels nothing is real Time is at his side hugging him and helping Legend look at the surroundings, hoping that his touch let the veteran know he's real, and his voice calm that grumpy heart. And when Time fears nobody there knows him, Legend is holding his hands between his, repeating his full name and title again and again so Time hears how he didn't forget, but also Legend tells him about a happy memory where everyone is included because there's a memory to cherish.

Wars tends to raise both of his hands a lot. During the comic he does it many times and even in the last art he's doing it.

I think it's cute. For a war captain, to always show a gesture of "giving up" is hard to think. I like to think that it's Wars' way to say "I want you to hear me. Look, I'm yielding to you" but also with a spark of "I trust you. I know you won't hurt me".

If we combine it with the fanon it makes it even more cute. His life was too compromised, he was always attacked and he never got the chance to be weak, but now he's fine being "weak" with his brothers because he trusts them. He knows his life is not in danger so he makes himself "small" and that's ok with him.

I just had a thought.

The kokkiris are eternal children right? Imagine that because of that they don't have baby teeth so they stay in that way. But the day that little Time lost his first baby teeth after he hit his face hard while playing, he started to freak out and even Saria did. They went to talk to the Deku Tree and the Deku Tree trying to calm him said something like it was a superpower and that it will grow again (he had enough with Time not having a fairy, the Deku Tree couldn't slip more things that will show that Time was a hylian, that would be later).

And then the Deku Tree talked to the minish and they took Time's tooth and left a red rupee (and yes I'm using the minish and not fairies because in latam we have a mouse and not a fairy and it makes more sense with the lore XDXD).

Time after seeing the rupee was so excited and happy. But thank the goddesses that after being on that seven years sleep he learnt it was a hylian thing and not a superpower because then he would be taking his teeth to get more rupees or he would be so careless he would had lost a tooth xdxd.

But it's funny the thought that maybe it took a while to learn that, so imagine teen Time toothless xD (in my family, we used to call that gap a "little window of happiness") so Time with a little window of happiness dhsvgdbfhd

Idk I'm just rambling after remembering that Jojo did a drawing of baby Time toothless xD

Also, do you think the kokkiris used little leaves instead of band-aids? xD

Everyone does the "Four is mad at Wild for smashing his weapons" BUT if you have played A Link to the Past you know there are many walls that can be broken but sometimes is hard to notice them, so...

What's the best method to find those hidden walls? EXACTLY!! SMASHING THE MASTER SWORD AGAINST THE WALLS AND HEAR THE SOUND IT MAKES!!!

Don't let Four and Sky find out about Legend's past. Legend surely will say something like "I got better" kjsakjaskjas

I must confess I did that too much because ALttP was my second LOZ game and I was still trying to understand how LOZ games worked xD Edit: Same with Time xD (Don't let Four and Sky find out about Legend's and Time's past).

I have this idea, I don't know if someone has done it before. But imagine, imagine a story where something happens with the song of time and then Time is 16 again but like he has just withdrawn the Master Sword and then he sees Sheik.

And so, Time has to go through all of Ocarina of Time again but now with his adult mind and if before he felt like a child in the body of an adult, he now feels like an adult in the body of a child. Still, it feels nice to not feel pain on his old wounds and damaged joints. He lost some strength on his attacks but he got back his speed, not to mention that is a relief to being able to see with both eyes.

He gets to see Navi again, but now Malon treats him like only a friend and he has to do the paces with the Master Sword since he knows he can't do this without her. He sees the perspectives of the others, things he missed when he had the mind of a child, specially about Sheik/Lullaby. Time has forgiven her and he will always forgive her but now he sees how young she was, how much she tried to do her best for her people and for him, how she's carrying a weight she shouldn't carry, just like him. And Time does even more to support her, and of course, he plays along with Sheik thing, he doesn't want to make her feel like she failed with her disguise because she didn't, it's just that he knows, also he needs to protect her identity. Maybe even Lullaby will ask him why he's parenting her, Time laughs at himself because of that.

Besides, he finds again his old friends. Saria still answers when he plays her song, Darunia always smiles when he sees Time, Ruto is still a little clingy but she's nice to be around, Impa is surprised to see how mature and strong is Time and feels proud, Nabooru is excited because she doesn't have to plan alone her rebellion against Ganon because Time now has the knowledge to plan with her, and Rauru is like "how did your mind changed while you were sleeping?" and of course, Time gives him a cryptic answer. His friends are still there on his timeline, on the timeline where he came back, but their friendship never got as strong as the one in the timeline he left.

And because of his brothers, he sees things that he can't ignore now. Sheik holding the Godess's Harp and playing it with so much care showing how holy the instrument is, the many symbols and ornaments that talked about the minish, how on the top of the Death Mountain some of Labrynna can be seen at the other side of the sea, how some mountains are so tall that will become islands one day, the terrain that one day will be Ordon, how this kingdoms will change but some things will be the same. It's cathartic, to get to adventure on his Hyrule again and now see what it was and what it will be.

Finally when he defeats Ganon (with less wounds) he doesn't want to leave the timeline again, but if he does that then Twilight, Wind, Wars and Wild will never exist, and Ganon will awake again no matter what, there's a limit on how much he can do and he doesn't want to cause a worse mayhem for changing history. Later he will tell his succesors that he's sorry for making them deal with his mistakes.

And when it's time to put the Master Sword on her pedestal again, he gets to say goodbye to Navi, accepting that he won't see her again but that was fine because there was a goodbye now between them, he doesn't forget to tell her how grateful he is with her and how much he loves and will miss her.

Time gets out of the Temple of Time, sighing knowing that he has to do everything again, but... no. He wakes up and he's back again, was it a spell? a dream? Well, at least him and his boys were in a cuddle pile with him being the center of it. It was liberating, he was happy, it was almost like if he eased his regrets (how cruel will it be when his own remorse and guilt attacks him again and turns him into Shade).

I know I know we have "Legend wakes up and LU was nothing but a dream for him" / "Legend is afraid everything is just a dream and one day he will wake up". And don't me wrong, that is one of my favorite angst ideas in LU in general.

BUT what about Time being scared that everyone one day will forget him, or that one day at sunrise he realizes he's at the start of the adventure and he has to do everything again. Both of them have the same base that is one of his deepest fears; to be a stranger for the boys he has come to love.

Just imagine him one night he couldn't sleep and went to take a walk and when he goes back to the camp, no one looks worried or anything, they don't even notice him until he greets them. Everyone at that moment is up with sword in hand pointing it at him.

Nobody knows who he is, they are a group of eight heroes, what is this old man saying about him being the leader? Wars is the leader. Twilight looks a little uneasy at the armor but still keeps his sword up.

Everyone has forgotten him, he's a nobody again and he has to start again or let everything go once more. He will be forgotten, no matter what, even by those who he loves.

Do you think that Hyrule is terrified of vampires?

I mean, he's already scared of his blood getting stolen (with a very good reason), but imagine that one day he hears about vampires, and he gets absolutely terrified.

In Adventure of Link there are these npcs on towns that if you talk with them they turn into bats, Hyrule then chokes on his spit when he learns that's something vampires can do.

He's now locked on the castle. He doesn't let go of Aurora, and if someone wants to enter the castle, he has his sword ready. (And at least he doesn't let them in, it's Dawn who has to do that).

One day, he wakes up screaming and kicking. Aurora gets up in a second and Dawn runs to check on their shared room. Hyrule then tells them he dreamt of vampire Ganon. Poor boy.
