i am dead serious right now i am completely flabbergasted that lance is so far behind in the blorbo poll. like at this point i’m convinced that scorned voltron enjoyers are purposefully throwing and voting for yuri out of spite/trauma.

like FIRST OF ALL lance was absolutely the poster child for voltron. he was the fandom darling and he was EVERYWHERE we brought him EVERYWHERE. he was the community little guy. you could not go five feet without seeing a pastel background lance icon. AND he was also the projection character of all time like people had to invent a brand new tagging system on ao3 just to organize their #langst whipping boy content! AND THEN the juxtaposition of the increasing flanderization of his character in canon vs the heaps and heaps of fancontent made about him??? how can we forget the fanarts! the dedicated alternate universes??! THE SHIP WARS??????
