It's been a while since I've done a fantasy screenshot redraw. But anyways, I didn't know how to approach the Crystallic Self-Perpetuating Breeder Construction Core other than I guess magic rocks until a friend suggested I could still keep the metal walls thanks to alchemy and magic. So thanks to that, I imagine CSPBCC is a result of Zurg experimenting with alchemy and magic to create a "metal expansion" item but when the crystallic rods are removed, the metal changes back to a brittle and rock look because I was deep into the rock background when my friend suggested it LMAO

More fantasy Zurora!! I like to imagine Aurora does have a cape style similar to Zurg for certain occasions, and this goes for the regular universe too, and I felt like drawing her in her battle armor since she actually can't fight in a dress like Zurg can lol

Also, idk how many of you have noticed, but I love drawing them with hold hands/Zurg is holding her hand mainly because it's the most romantic gesture for the both of them. Cause while I can see Zurg allowing Aurora to hug or kiss him, holding hands is the one he's the most comfortable with and she's not complaining. 💜

SOME EVILYEAR FANTASY AU LORE.

Okay. So I've basically let Zurg be apart of this nearly extinct dragon transforming kind called The Draconis that have the ability to give it to someone else through a dragon scale, and a magic spell but I'll explain it in another spread, but basically, Evilyear managed to obtain it in his universe and obtain the ability to transform into a dragon. Cliche? Yes but dragons are cool B)

As for Star Command, I assume they would go into hiding and hardly show their faces since the fall of their main base in order to not risk Evilyear discovering their hideouts. Except for Cosmo's Tavern cause that seems to be the neutral ground where the ex-Evil Emperor and Empress are now working at. I also made Star Command's armor sharper in this universe unlike in the regular one due to the darker reality. Oh yeah, I also imagine, those who can afford, or steal it, use enchanted armor as prosthetics.

And I had the pleasure drawing some great friends ocs in this too for all the angst.

THIS AU IS NOT DEAD. It just took me a bit between life stuff and other art projects and the fact I wanted to get all Star Command related drawings together.

I don't have a lot of lore to infodump other than exploring armor designs for Star Command rangers, especially for the more unique looking suits we saw in the show. As well as showing off the rank symbols on the armor so everyone knows what each one is which.

INFO DUMP TIME. So for the BLOSC robots, I'm going for a more magical knight/kinda stone golem type of deal instead of robots but in a fantasy setting. So XR I went with a TOTK/BOTW route where he has a magical crystal core that allows him to still stretch his body. Whereas Nos, who has legs because trying to imagine him floating in this AU looks hella silly in my head, is an illegal magic knight because there's strict rules on making magic knights. But essentially, magic knights have runes written inside of their armor that allow suits of armor to walk around freely. Pls forgive me how Nos looks. I need to fix his head.

As for the pit...I did explain it in a fake screenshot with Zurg and Aurora but I'll go into further detail whenever I get to fully creating a concept sheet for it.

Here's some context for this: so I'm taking a page from TOTK and there's basically another world underneath the surface that Zurg and Buzz both accidentally discovered when they were battling each other and fell down. Zurg's dragon, Dreadnaught wing's got injured and was stuck there for some hours until Aurora and some others could get them out of there. Buzz managed to get out of there thanks to the help of his team. I'm still work shopping the Brainpods design and what to call this other world but let's say it contains creatures not seen in the upper land and a certain someone is sealed off in there.

Oh, and Zurg and Aurora sometimes just start talking to each other in the most mushiest and sweet talk ever and all the minions just cringe when they hear it LMFAO

This will probably be the last one I do for now as I want to work on more fantasy designs so I can do more screenshot redraws in the future but these were fun to do :D
