Seb sighed as he slowly looked through the safehouse with his gun drawn. This was one where Russ was at often, he might be able to find something, *anything*. He knew Russ was innocent. Because Russ was out of the field with him in the cafe for nearly a year.

He was looking for fingerprints, shoeprints, messed up blankets, dirty cups or mugs- anything…

He found himself looking through the shelves, stopping at a book that looked like it was recently dusted off, having something on the cover in a bright color…

He picked it up, looking at the cover. On the top of the book, “Based off a true story.” The “S” and “E” in “Based” were highlighted

“Blood and Glory”, was the title. The “B” in “Blood” was highlighted.

He opened the book, seeing more highlights.

“Chapters”

“Five”

“Fifteen”

“Thirty-one”

“Forty-two”

“Sixty”

He sat down, finding a scrap piece of paper and taking out his pen, going through the chapters.

“Sorry”

“Caught”

“Danger”

Then it was multiple on the same chapter

“Running” “Won’t be” “Safe” “Trying to” “Hide” “More of these”

And the last one…

“I” “Love” “You” “S” “E” “B”

More. There would be more…

And he’d follow it till the ends of the fucking earth.
