I’m here to talk about my OC Bloxy :3
here’s a bit of a collage of a bunch of drawings I have of her (don’t mind coil there too)
And a lore ramble…
Bloxy is a support class Inphernal, their gear being the Bloxy Cola. She was naturally spawned into Playground and raised by their caretaker there. Bloxy’s caretaker later took in another spawn, Speedy (Super Speedy Pink Potion), who Bloxy considers a sibling. Bloxy moved out of Playground and into Crossroads a few years ago, where she now works as a bartender at a small bar in the mid-level of Crossroads. However, they live in the mid-lower levels.
Possibly has a modified Gear, with the gear she was spawned with being Bloxy Cola, but her modified gear being sort of a Soda-Grenade. Not sure on this, though so I’m just leaving it as a regular Bloxy cola for now.
Bloxy is factionless, but is still very connected to her home region. Bloxy is a bit younger than Skateboard (roughly 22-23), who she met and became good friends with when they were teenagers. The wiki says Skateboard saves a lot of Playgrounders from the unstable infrastructure there and a lot of those inphernals are part of his “Skate Fam” so I think that’s probably how they met, and they just became friends. And that friendship extended to Boombox as well ofc.
Bloxy likes going to Theives’ Rest, she chatted with Vinestaff a lot, and they’re kind of friends. She started going to the cafe more bc of Skateboard (they”d meet up there when Skate came to Crossroads) and so became friends with Slingshot too. It’s also this way that Bloxy ended up (unwillingly) hanging out with Coil.
So, a little characterization tangent- Bloxy seems like a pretty bubbly, energetic, friendly person, which she is, to an extent, but she plays it up a bit to “protect herself”, and basically create relationships without really having to share much about herself(doesn’t talk about herself for several reasons, the only person who really knows much about Bloxy is probably Skateboard but like, it still doesn’t go terribly far yknow). She observes people a lot and adapts to them. Coil is similar, he’s also an observer, but instead of acting more friendly he actually acts more unpleasant to keep people away and rely on himself. Two sides of the same coin. They HATE EACHOTHER because they’re good at reading people but they just can’t seem to figure out the other, even worse they can’t seem to fool eachother, so they do the next best thing and just get on eachother’s nerves. The piss eachother off so bad…
That aside I ship them lmao I think their interactions are interesting to explore and honestly being faced with someone who understands you to such an uncomfortable degree and forces you to face your own facade is probably good for them :) world’s worst enemies to lovers slow burn. Her being/looking similar to cool was not intentional I barely knew he existed when I made them lol. I’d talk about them more but this is supposed to be focused on Bloxy not her mean criminal situationship 😔/silly
Some Miscellaneous Notes:
They like karaoke and have a bit of a pop addiction. She also is acquianted with Hyperlaser and Katana (Hyperlaser comes to the bar sometimes, sometimes Katana meets him there[im influenced by hypertana fanart I fear]). No I didn’t forget Shuriken, they just aren’t super familiar with eachother, Bloxy knows Slingshot and Vinestaff better. Doesn’t participate in official Phights (gear isn’t very suited for it). Unhhhh I can’t think of anything else.

anyways first impressions of this guy they look AEWESOME actually i love bloxy cola ocs,,, oh they look so cool i wanna squish them /pos awhh speedy,,, ouhh i love caretakers as well,, let these 'phernals have aawesome parental figures,,,

honestly the maybe-modified-gear-but-idrk is real as well,, soda-grenade sounds sick as hell if you do go along with that one (i say like this is not a month old and you probably have done more with this fella /silly)

it is just now i realized thats the name of the cafe,,, im slacking so badly with phighting lore,, aaaaanyways yess more friendships.... collect those friends!!! and coil
ok i love characters with personalities like that. everything they choose to show is a veiled representation of their actual self to keep themself safe. i loveee it aughhh. i can see why they'd both upset each other tbh. dedicating so much of your personality to knowing how others act so you can adapt accordingly and then you meet someone who you just cant for the life of you figure out, even when they always seem to have YOU figured out to the point you cant even do your usual faking... ouh sorry i just really love these kinds of dynamics
nightmare enemies to lovers story all things aside /lh theyre not gonna fix each other but they sure as hell aint makin the other worse,,, character development through someone who has a similar facade to you nowwww!!
ouh karaoke lover already 100% awesome in my books i lovr them... the hypertana reach is vast i get it i get it,, shuriken is just in the shadows its ok you probably meant that she doesnt phight in general but i like the wording of official phights,, because it might imply that maybe theyve taken part or still take part in more unofficial underground phights,,, hmm sorry anyways
ouh questions ummmm ummm....... one i always like to aask with ocs that i think could unearth a bit abt them,,, how do they view the SFOTH deities? any specific ones they do or dont believe exist, any different ideas of them ? also whats their favorite food i wanna know this noww....
in any way,, sorry that this took nearly a month again, heh,,, if you ever come back with bloxy (or any other ocs!!) just know i will welcome you with a big ol grin on my face :}
