Look at all the Black men who Black women fawn over. Most of them have full features and they look like the common, every day Black man. The only time we don’t like full features is when it’s on the common, every day Black woman. We will accept them on a man…If Ari [Lennox]’s male counterpart existed, he will get a lot of attention. If Ari had a twin brother, Black women would fall over him. If Teyana Taylor had a twin brother, Black women would fall over him. That’s the problem. It’s not trying to make every Black woman attractive or a supermodel. It’s about how the every day Black woman phenotype isn’t tolerated the way the every day Black man’s phenotype is tolerated. You’re always gonna have a problem with that kind of imbalance. In other communities, that doesn’t happen. The average looking white man and the average looking white woman, they date each other. They don’t talk about each other like that. They don’t do that…The average Black man with wide nostrils doesn’t get harassed like the average Black woman with wide nostrils…
