For the "who holds what" meme - Sakura and Aoi
The umbrella, when it rains - Sakura. Aoi is not rain-shy and will often make a break for it, even in a downpour.
The popcorn at the cinema - Aoi, because she tends to eat about 70% of the bucket.
The baby, when it cries - My headcanon is that Aoi has a shitton of siblings, so she's a lot better at soothing crying kids.
The ice cream cone, when they share - Sakura. Easier for her to bend to Aoi than for Aoi to reach up for the ice cream (even if it is a little cute)
The remote, when they sit down to watch a movie - Sakura because Aoi will try and replay all the cool scenes over and over instead of finishing the movie.
The basket, when they go shopping - Sakura. Aoi tends to heft everything in both arms.
The door, on dates - Sakura.
The other’s hand, most often - Aoi's the more touchy-feely one in this relationship.
Their breath, upon seeing the other on their wedding day - They'd both be smiling tearfully at each other, I think.
The camera, when they take pictures together - Aoi can't shoot straight and Sakura's pictures are always a little out of focus, so they just set a timer or ask someone else to shoot the picture for them.
Shipper meme - 2, 28, 31
2. Talk about three of the most important ships throughout your life.
Answered dy, but let me go a bit further.
Tiga and Dyna was...one of my first same-sex ships, because I don't remember if Saiyuki popped in before that. I had a story about Tiga falling in with the wrong crowd (cough, Kamiira and flunkeys, cough) and Dyna rebelling against their influence, which resulted in him getting shot out into space in a rocket. Good times. In Ninja Manual Tiga's a small kid and Dyna's Rurouni Kenshin a karate master with A Past, but as student and teacher they're no less adorable.
And then there was Mebius. And Hikari. And episode 10. Holy mcshitterson, it was--I don't know what it was, but I tip my hat to Tsuburaya for that arc of awesome, at least. Mebius believed so hard in what remained of Hikari's heart. Unconditional. Unwavering. He never gave up on Tsurugi even when Tsurugi gave up on himself. His devotion puts me to shame.
I fell so hard, I made myself wallpaper. And icons. I made myself a buttload of icons.
And then...there's Strosca. I don't think I'm ever going to be able to explain away that dream I had about the genlock and the crossbow on the banks of Lake Calenhad, but it gave me a story, and the story gave me a series, and the series occasionally makes my heart smile. Two very disparate strangers find belonging in each other--happiness, too, albeit for a short time. I think they were good for each other; that Natia drew courage from him and Sten, compassion from her. Or at least, he had that reminder that yes, sometimes life was just a little less not fair than usual. And a lot stranger than one initially reckons.
28. Does shipping come easily to you?
I think it depends. Sometimes it just happens, like pow! You're now stuck shipping a swimmer and an MMA fighter together because they're such cuties. And sometimes--well a lot of times if just one character in something rubs me the wrong way, I find it hard to ship them with anyone else (though I do enjoy other people's take on them occasionally).
31. Talk about one of your favorite headcanons for a ship you love.
Another one? OK. Natia's the only one who knows whether Sten is ticklish or not. >)
"Blue cherries". Jeebus, I am idiot for not seeing it before.
