That Blue Highlight

I recently got a highlighter palette and was amazed taking swatches of it to say the least... then I put on a dark blue/black smoky eye today. I thought that logically putting on a blue toned highlighter with said eye makeup look would make me feel like a dark fairy, ethereal level glow, but honestly I’m not sure if I’m glowing or if I look like someone blue and sparkly from a lack of oxygen during their last minutes of life.

When something's highlighted blue in your blog's activity compared to if it's white, what does that mean?

I really want to get a dark blue streak in the underlay of my hair. Hope mama won't mind!
