Next (and final) part for this moon is going to take a minute, buuut I've got some fun things in store in the meantime! More deets below the cut ;)

MossClan gaining a deputy is a huge step in the clan's development, so I want to make it a smidge interactive! The deputy was chosen by the RNG so there's no going back on that, but I thought it might be fun to do a little vote anyways :) I'll make a post soon showing off all the eligible warriors + their traits and highlights of their role in the comic. Results of the poll will influence how I structure the next part!

Reminder that Moon 29 is the "season finale" of sorts, and I'll be taking a little break after this. I'm still hyped to continue, but I've found myself slowing down a bit and want to make sure I'm avoiding burnout. I'm also a writer in my spare time and would like to focus more on those projects more for a little bit :)

BUT I do plan on doing the 200 follower event during the hiatus (if we get there by the end of this moon, we're sooo close!), so this blog will still be relatively active during the hiatus!

Finished my finals, and working on the next two chapters. I also made an outline an reference sheet to keep track of all the crazy stuff that’s happening. Ugh I need to pound out a few more details about space stuff before it’s ready! Thanks for waiting. I know most of you are in it for the langst

Hiatus check-in!

It's been a minute since I've posted anything, so I thought I'd let y'all know that the next batch of Mossclan is still coming along! Avoiding burnout/retaining my enjoyment of this series is my number one goal, and sometimes that means not drawing for a week and then picking it back up, etc.

To hopefully satiate the Mossclan itch, some of my favorite non-spoilery sketches (and possibly some more info) are below the cut!

Insider knowledge for those of you that scrolled this far... The next batch of the story will be the next 9 moons AND will feature a supplemental comic focused on a particular Mossclan character! I needed to explain this character more in depth, and the regular moons' story structure just wasn't cutting it. The supplemental comic is scripted for nine pages, but will likely end up longer once I start sketching!

Happy holidays everyone! Been hard at work on the new pages, I'm finally starting to color everyone in. After that it'll be the backgrounds and all the fun little details. I'm tentatively planning on making new stock backgrounds to freshen things up a bit.

Hiatus Update/Check-in (featuring sketches of future pages!)

[Tl;dr: Rough sketching is complete for the next chunk of MossClan, but I don't have a timeline for when I'll start posting again just yet!]

I'm been chipping away at the pages for a while now, and can finally say that I've done rough sketches of all the pages in the next batch of moons! I'll give y'all a sneak peak at some of my favorite sketches so far... can you guess who's who?

The next batch of moons will be Moons 30-40, which doesn't sound like a lot but it's gotten to be over 30 pages!! I'm glad I decided to block out everything at once, I think this will be the best set of pages yet in terms of how the plot and character development is handled. It's been so fun finding my rhythm with the production of this comic and I hope you guys will see the growth too :)

The plan is to now start chipping away at lineart (some of the sketches are ROUGH so this might take a while, lol), and I may do rough coloring on all of them as well before I start posting again. I'll also be coming up with a posting schedule so that y'all can get the pages regularly after waiting so patiently! I don't have a set timeline of when it'll be done, I want to take it easy to avoid burnout. But rest assured I am well and have been enriching my time with reading, friends, etc!

Played up to moon 41 in Clangen so I can start planning further in the comic and uh. Boy I sure love how absolutely nothing bad happens to these characters I've been attached to for a year and a half!!

We're getting very close to 200 followers... I know we did a 150-follower event not too long ago, but 200 feels much too big to pass up!

Just wanted to let y'all know that you might have to wait a bit for the next page! A lot happens next moon and I want to work on all the parts (there's at least 4!) at once so they can all be released in a timely manner. This isn't a hiatus per se, but I am gonna take my time :)

In the meantime, how do you guys feel about me posting occasional updates and/or supplementary material to keep the blog active (ex: character headcannons, polls for feedback, status updates, etc)
