🏃♂️ You used to be a thief. Growing up in the orphanage, you had to be to survive. Gosh, the things that you, Eugene, and Lance would steal . . . it always brought a smile to your face. Seeing Eugene's happy grin after a successful robbery always made your heart thump weirdly in your chest.
🏃♂️ But that life was behind you now. You were a reformed guy and had picked up music as an honest career. Music was . . . simple. You played and other people listened.
🏃♂️ Word spread throughout Corona of your ability all the way to the castle. Princess Rapunzel came to check you out, with Eugene and Lance in tow.

🏃♂️ As soon as Eugene saw you, he stopped dead in his tracks. He said your name in amazement. Lance scooped you up into a crushing hug.
🏃♂️ "Hi guys," you said. It was somewhat of an inelegant greeting but like. They were here!! Especially Eugene. You wouldn't admit it to anybody but you missed Eugene deeply. You knew it hurt him when you left but looking into his eyes, you didn't see that pain anymore.
🏃♂️ Rapunzel and Lance fawned over your instrument. Eugene gently grasped your arm.
🏃♂️ "Do you want to . . . go out for a cup of coffee sometime? I know a really good spot."
🏃♂️ You squeezed his hand. "I'd love to."
🏃♂️ Over the cup of coffee, you and Eugene reminisced over the good old days. It ended with you kissing him.
