If you know me, you know I’m an advocate for engaging communities. That’s why I’m so stoked to be collaborating with one of my favourite community driven platforms Airbnb to share their new symbol, and their refined vision.

Being that it’s our experiences that strengthen our bonds, and our bonds that strengthen our communities, I figured the simple (in-season) Northern custom of picking blueberries is a good place to start. Momo and I went out picking, and ended up with enough to collaborate on some berry art.

Northern Ontario boasts an ever-producing profusion of berries, and they’re FREE. Hundreds of folks venture into the woods to fill up buckets, and sell them at roadside stands or to local organizations. My favourite part of the experience is the mind-numbing task of grabbing the berries, and the conversations (even with a dog) that arise because of it!
