Thinkin. Thinkin about creating my own Steven universe au (I have one starting to be planned it’s not super unique but blegh I need more aus. With Steven just fuckin kinda trapped on homeworld they itch my brain in such a way. And so I may create my own but I don’t want to copy anyone but I’m also remembering that two cakes are better than one cake) (definetky not creating an us just so my gem ocs can have a use nooo that’s not it at all) (I only have 3 gem ocs and one of them would not work. In context i don’t think.)

More crystal gems stuff!!! The crystal gems (including Connie) are obviously very worried for Steven. They know that the diamonds wouldn’t kill him, he is pink diamond after all. But the worry how homeworld would change him. How different he must be now. What torture white could be putting him through.

They obviously try to build a ship back to homeworld (challenging in its own right) but the also fear for what has been done to their little boy

Connie throws herself into her school and sword fighting. She spends all of her time studying or training, she’s lonely, just tryin to make up for the fact She can’t see her best friend. She loves him, she misses him, she worries for him. the last time she heard from him was during the tower. (She doesn’t know it was the tower, I’ll go more into this later.)

Fractured White Au (name pending)

Welcome to my au!!! I’ve been having brain worms about it for the last couple days and even if (most likely) no one is gonna see it I felt the need to post it!!

Hey blue what about your ocs that you promised to work on? Or the other projects swirling around your head?

Basic premise: Au that diverges from CYM- where during the confrontation with white diamond, pink Steven accidentally ends up cracking white’s gem, (the she’s gone bit). shit does NOT go well for Steven after (Will explain more later my tummy is upset LMAO and I just wanna post this)

Even more au stuff? No way!!! I’ve given basics on the Tower (which I meant to go more in depth into today with an art piece but I napped for way to long)

So. What happens to the crystal gems??? Are they okay??? Have they been shattered????? (They are not shattered I’m not that evil. (Probably) ;) (who knows)

They are fine!!! (Mostly- emotionally a bit iffy) (a lot iffy tbh) Right after the events of what happens with Steven, crystal gems are poofed almost immediately by white. blue and yellow take pity, bubble them, and order them to be put on a ship sent back to earth. (other than Connie Connie is just on the ship white doesn’t care enough about her to kill her). They get taken to earth in the ship with some gems (rubies probably), are dumped on the beach, unbubbled, and then the ship leaves.

Crystal gems are unharmed but with no way to get back to homeworld easily AND ARE VERY CONFUSED BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED. Connie has to explain that their little boy fractured white diamond and is stuck on homeworld . (I may make a mini comic for that?!) (after I slightly redesign the crystal gems maybe)

Blue! Blue! I hear you ask. More au stuff? (It’s me. I’m the one asking.)

Gladly!!!! I have given the basic premise, now it’s time for. Um. The Tower. BUM BUM BUMMMMM (Queue ominous music) SO. What happens after Steven cracks White diamond’s gem?

Tower time tower time!!! Steven, after fusing back together, gets thrown into the Tower for a Long Time (nothing more than a month, figuring out the details exactly) as punishment (and while the other diamonds figure out what to do with him.)

Is he given food? Maybe at the beginning!!! And then it slowly stops being given. His gem is what keeps him alive during the time.

(I’ll go more into what exactly happens during the tower in a later post I wanna make art for it)

Sometimes I miss little things I don’t even really know what I’m missing out on. Songs that auto-played on my music app that I’ve never listened to, but forgot to like before switching playlists- songs that I can’t describe because I only heard them once but I know I want to hear them again- fics I saved a while ago, ones that got deleted before I had the chance to read them.

I miss them, I long for them, not even really knowing what I’m missing because I can’t even remember the name of the fics I never got to read and the lyrics to the song because I heard it once, half-listening while doing homework.
