This is the first peony I got when I moved here, now there are five :)
So lucky to have someone bring me tea while I work :)
When I got home today one of my little crow buddies landed next to me to say hi, then when I turned to walk to the house he thought it might be fun to catch a ride and went to land on my head O_O I felt all the toes of both feet in my hair but it must have seemed too slippy so he took off again and waited for me on the stoop, silly thing :D

the barest beginnings of the Ten of Swords tarot card for a series on prognostication :)
Just finishing up this underpainting of a café scene, pre-quarantine but with people definitely distanced ;) I need different brushes to solve some problems, especially over on the right side (which is a huge wonky mirror) where it’s currently too light, I may remodel some of my brushes and see if they’ll do :)
Mailed one painting off to Scotland this week and delivered another to an adorable lakeside house :)
