Show me love
1. Hug from behind
It was surprisingly quiet for the time of day, but Zelos was content with the lack of people lingering in the streets as he strolled down the avenue. He gazed idly into shop windows as he passed, but he wasn’t looking for anything in particular. In fact, he wasn’t sure what he was in the mood for at all. It was a little early to be hitting the bar, and he wasn’t thirsty anyway, for company or liquor. An aimless stroll suited him for the moment, and he meandered further down the lane, pausing now and then to admire a display. He quirked an eyebrow at the outfit on display in one window, inadvertently picturing Sheena in it and approving of the image. He wondered if he could convince her to wear something like that.
Distracted by the mental image, he almost didn’t notice the person coming up behind him. As it was, he barely had time to react, hand grasping at the hilt of his sword and half-way drawing it before he realized there was no aura of threat. In fact, the arms that wrapped themselves around him were gentle, though firm in their embrace. It was a familiar gesture, but when he twisted to see who had the audacity to do such a thing without announcing themselves first, he didn’t recognize the man at all.
“…Excuse me, but what do you think you’re doing?” he asked, frost in his tone as he extricated himself from the other man’s grasp. His gaze swept the tall, lean frame, but he still had no inkling of who this stranger was. “Can I help you?” The words were polite, despite the chill in his voice, but his back was rigid and his eyes were chips of flint.
