📍Blue Ginger The Wharf, Lakefront, Sucat, Parañaque We're always on the look out for vibrant and eclectic restaurants since we share a love for food, photos, and art. Today, we decided to head to Blue Ginger for our Chinese New Year brunch. And Blue Ginger did not disappoint. This Asian fusion restaurant is decked in ornate pieces all rich in colors and textures--from the tufted suede sofas, the gilded frames that hung from their Prussian blue and chartreuse walls, the palm leaf-painted pillars, the elaborate lanterns, the blue china, the colored crystal glasses, down to the intricate tiles--achieving it's own take on bohemian luxe. Every nook and cranny begging to be photographed. 🍴What we tried: Thai Pomelo Salad with grilled prawns with Asian vinaigrette dressing. The pomelo was juicy, the lettuce leaves were fresh and crunchy, and the dressing was just right. Thai Chicken Wings marinated in fish sauce and special spices and herbs, served with sweet chili dipping sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the skin was the best part. Beef Satay served with turmeric rice and peanut sauce. The beef was soft and easy to slice and the combination of the beef, the peanut sauce, and the turmeric rice was to die for.
