~ Standing Tall ~ Bluegums, Cape Town, South Africa. Charcoal, conté crayon and chalk pastel on 600mic (390gsm) grey DeHalm. Size: 51 x 77cm (20 x 30 inches). NB: This artwork requires framing (with glass). Winding along Rhodes Drive in Constantia Heights, blue gums are a common, if not indigenous sight in the Cape. Here a stand of these lofty giants reaches up the hillside towards Table Mountain National Park in the late afternoon.
